We had our pod scheduled to move for over a month. PODS contacted us an hour before we were expecting the pod to be picked up to let us know that the moved was delayed by 2 weeks. This was on moving day. We had to be out of our house. We had to hire movers at the last minute. This cost us $1000. They also charged us an extra month of service because of the delay. We tried to get reimbursement. Every attempt was met with denials. This experience was very unprofessional and unethical.

After several delays, they actually got into an accident about 4 states away. We got one call and an email. We can't reach one person who can tell us what is going on. No one answers the numbers we were given. Emails are not returned. So they slowed down our move, possibly destroyed all of our possessions, and we can't find out when whatever is left is supposed to show up. Utterly insane. I'd rather do business with some random guy with a truck. I bet he'd answer the phone and not destroy everything I own. This has been the worst move I've ever experienced and I was in New Orleans for Katrina. They make AT&T look like great service. Pure garbage and I know I won the unlucky lottery here, but Jesus H. Answer or even return one phone call or email. Not putting our rep on blast here so as not to dox her. I'm pretty furious with her though.

First I must say I order a pod because I was on time crunch between my insurance company and contractors trying to repair home following Hurricane Laura. I needed storage in a hurry Pods was my quickest option at that time. At $260 a month for over 2 years I spent $7k storing my items in the pod on my property. While waiting for an insurance settlement. My payments were always made through auto pay. I knew there were delivery fees I do not ever remember there being a pickup fee.After paying the final bill at the beginning of July I had a large shed built to move my stuff to shed with construction soon to begin. So I had the pod set for pickup to finally rid myself of this extra bill.Pods reps contacted to confirm pickup date, address, and time window for pickup no one ever mentioned a pickup of fee $137.75. So when the pod was picked up and the following date I saw a charge of $137.75 I called them repeatedly to see if this was some sort of prorated bill for the next cycle or what.Their automative system is horrible, very limited options, if you click billing it gives option A & B if neither applies it hangs up on you. It took over 50 mins of calling and hangs before I pressed random buttons until it put me on hold for a representative. The lady then tells me they told me about the pickup fee when they delivered the Pod. The delivery fee was built into initial costs, I do not remember any pickup fees and that was 27 months ago! I asked was there anyway to have that voided given the length of time I had the pod, and money I’ve spent and she kind of chuckled ( not rudely). But after spending $7k and going through everything I’ve been through, the inflation of today there’s no reason why they couldn’t void that. I’ve paid for this Pod twice in the time I’ve had it.I feel foolish having had this so long. Honestly if I could go back I would build my 12x16 shed which is much larger than the pod I had for the same price in 2021 but I was in time crunch. Money lost!If someone only needs a pod for a month or two then I’d recommend it but it’s far too costly for long term usage.

I have so far been double billed for an incorrectly delivered POD. The service is laughable and borderline criminal. Currently filing complaints with local and federal authorities.Additional complaint. After almost a month with initial problems still unresolved, I am now fighting to get the incorrectly delivered pod picked up since we are currently unable to park at our house. The functionality of their online account management causes great problems and is unable to understand I want the pod OFF-RENT and picked up, it tries to force me into scheduling an additional month of storage with another round of pickup and delivery back to my house. This has been a complete nightmare with atrocious support from PODS.Buyer beware, any positive review of this company should be viewed with a jaundiced eye.

Do not use in the Baton Rouge area!!!! I would give negative stars if I could. Our POD was supposed to be picked up 5 days ago. After we called the number provided which is corporate HQ , they advised they were having difficulty getting in touch with him. This was the response we got for 3 days. On 9/28 I was advised we were scheduled for pick up between 8-11 on 9/29. Today is 9/29 and no one showed up by 11. I called back and now the window is 12-3 today. It is currently 2:00 pm and I will be very surprised if someone shows up. At this point we will be better off putting wheels under the thing, loading it onto a trailer, find out who the person responsible for not picking it up lives, and depositing it in front yard. It is with the extra money and hassle to pay for a storage unit!UPDATE: The POD was finally picked up at 2:30 on 9/29. The drive briefly apologized but offered no explanation regarding the 5 day delay. I did email the email address that responded to this email with details explaining the main issue wasn't the delay; it was the abhorrent lack of communiction on PODs part - we had to call every day, sometimes twice per day, to find out a status.

Pick up was continuously postponed by PODS while our credit card continued to be charged. Trying to reach customer service to resolve the issue was useless even after filling a dispute. Will never use this company again.

horrible. had to wait over 2 weeks for pick up. Then on the day of pick up they would not have shone up The night of scheduled pickup if I had'nt call one of the drivers cell phone tbat I got the day he Dropped it off.

Moved from Louisiana to Washington State. PODS had a competitive price, their booking and managing system online was pretty straightforward, customer service was very responsive and helpful, drivers handling the containers were awesome, and my stuff was in good condition when it arrived. Overall, a very good experience. Would definitely recommend.

We had to put stuff in here after Hurricane Ida to make repairs to the inside of the house. I will never use a unit again after having used Pods. It made a stressful time much easier. Worth every penny.

Bait and switch. I was quoted one price and charged nearly $1000 more. I was told the call where I was quoted the initial price would be reviewed and on 7/17/22 IR 2323528 it was concluded that I was told the total cost would be $1396.65. As of 8/3/2022 I’ve been $2225.61 even though PODS customer service notes acknowledge the error. I would rather burn all my items than ever use these cheaters for transport.UPDATE: As of 8/27/20 I have NOT received the refund of $825 which was promised by A. Zayas in an email dated 8/17/2022.I was asked to sign a NDA and not to disclose the terms of their agreement to honor the original price quoted to me during my initial call made on 7/2/2022. I am skeptical of signing the release because I haven’t received my refund and do not want to terminate my right to disclose the shady practices of this company. I spoke to a representative today who couldn’t give me any updates and she stated the refund has NOT been processedThis company just keeps getting worse. Beware this is a Bad business.
