Lowe's for all of your home improvement needs. Stop by the local Baton Rouge, LA Lowe’s to pick up gardening supplies, check out new appliances and paint colors or try out new patio furniture. The store has plenty of inventory and anything for home decorating and repair. Lowe's has more of a personal touch, and the employees are mostly friendly, easy to talk to, and so so nice. One staff member was dead set on helping and rectifying a bad situation with a friendly smile and kind words, changing the customer's mood quickly. Another provided a stand up performance in the lumber section. However, someone to help you can be hard to find; you have to find them, as nobody's gonna ask if you need help. The store can be high in the price department, and lumber prices can be beat at local lumber yards. Some customers do not like that there are no cashiers, only self-serve check out. The website for shopping online is not great. Despite some frustrations, the friendly staff and willingness to help make a positive difference.
Went there to buy lawn chairs. They didn't have any of the basic lawn chairs. They are the third retailer not to have them. I am wondering if this companies wide now. One last store to visit. Although, Lowe's is a very nice store. Telling it like it IS 😀 TerryB 🦼

Lowe's has more of a personal touch....The employees are mostly friendly, easy to talk to...I like to visit the little bargain section in the rear of the store, not that I buy a lot from it, I enjoyed looking....What I don't like is no cashiers self serve check out.....

The staff was so so nice when we went and they have anything for home decorating and repair. However they are high in the price department. (A bag of 20 zipties was 16$)
