They just recently hired a new young lady there I believe who doesn't speak or understand English. I went to purchase a energy drink which was about three bucks and some tax. I gave her twenty dollars. She inputs five dollars to give me a dollar and seventy four cents. I told her that I gave her twenty dollars not five. Both female and male managers tells me they have to check the camera as if I'm lying about my money I gave her. Yes I was highly upset because had that been some else non black they would have quickly gave them their money. The situation was handled very poorly I won't be going back! They're in the wrong community to treat people as if we're less than.

I love coming here for the desserts and baked goods. The cake is super delicious, I've bought a simple decorated vanilla/chocolate cake for two birthdays now. I also stopped by to get a slice of tres leches (cheaper than Ambrosia and def more authentic) and I saw they had a king cake flavor. It was really good and a great way to celebrate the Mardi Gras season. The cashiers are very quick and nice, I get in and out pretty quick when I make these spontaneous stops.

Charges more money for the meat then what they say it cost per pound.3 leches cake SECO almost $5.00 for one slice of cake and it’s dry. Terrible store!!

I will no longer patronize your business. I go there frequently to get CARNE ASADA or POLLO ASADO. Today the CARNE ASADA PLATE was served with 2pc of BEEF they were small pieces. I let the server know as she should that, that plate is not what I frequently purchase. She said, management has instructed her to put 2pcs. for $13.99 + tax $15.38 I believe. I bought this plate at least 4 times a week. When I asked to speak to a manager they said go find yourself. One of the ladies name is GENESIS,I actually thought we had a cordial relationship but today that wasn't the case. You will receive the BUD LIGHT treatment from me for now on.

I was desperately looking for a store that had most of the Hispanic products that I use on a daily basis for cooking and cleaning and this store has almost everything I was super satisfied with the variety of products they have there, my only complaint is the price of some things and the food already prepared in the store I think it is a little expensive and they should put less oil in the rice they prepare, the taste is ok, but they use too much oil that takes away your appetite. The staff, especially the cashier and those in the deli are very rude, I understand that maybe they have many hours working there and are tired but being courteous, friendly and answer in a good way when someone speaks to you in the same way is part of the good service, then everything else is fine the store is clean and as I said above they offer a good variety of Hispanic products.

I had seen the Ideal Market on Burbank Drive driving by, and after reading about it in the Advocate, I paid a visit and it was just great! The store was super clean and much bigger inside than I expected. I bought some prepared food and fruit and it was all delicious and very fresh. The cashier and the store personnel were helpful and friendly. I do speak Spanish but even if you don't, you should check this store out and see what they have to offer!

I've been here several times since they've opened and each time I've been spoken to and treated rudely. This was my last time. The Mexican women who work here are very rude and have the most horrible attitudes. They talk to you any kind of way and roll their eyes at you just for asking them a question. It's hard to find anyone in here who speaks English and it's like they're mad that you don't speak Spanish. Maybe they just don't like black people purchasing from their store.
