Knowledgeable, friendly staff and large selection of siding inventory. The only place in town that had what I needed for my job. They cut the 16 ft piece in half so I could haul it easier. Great customer service!

Absolutely terrible experience. Do not expect to be treated well if you are not a contractor, even if you are spending good money. This was actually expressed to us by a sales rep at the store. We had so many problems and are having to live with many of the issues. No apologies at any point. We were told everything was in stock, but we waited months for materials which delayed our build. On top of that, incorrect material sizes were ordered by their sales representative. We also received damaged product after waiting months. Very disappointed.

We were extremely disappointed with the customer service in the door department at Holmes. After our third visit of attempting to get prices and information on doors we gave up. The employee working the computer in the door department had very little knowledge of the products being sold and could not seem to operate the computer program to get the information we needed. After several un returned phone calls we decided to bring our business elsewhere.

Yes. Holmes has all of your building materials for home building and home improvements. Holmes have longer size boards in stock that Homedepot would have to specal order. Also, I can pick out my own boards in their Lumber Yard. The delivery fee is cheaper than Homedepot for local delivery. I have bought lumber for three of my DIY projects around my home.

Just got a new door built by Holmes building materials and could not be more pleased with the overall experience. The owner who must be extremely busy even took the time to call and follow up and was part of the whole process. The installers could not be more professional. I knew this was a family owned business but the level of service and knowledge puts any large company to shame. Thank you so much Mr. Holmes for your companies service and you will have my business for a lifetime. Job well done sir.

Never again.Was sorely disappointed when 30% of the lumber I ordered came more crooked than the politicians around here.Didn't get a receipt when they dropped it off either. Ate the loss and went picked out my own lumber at HD. I hate wasting the time but if I cant trust the "pros" to deliver straight 2x4s Ill just have to.

I am very impressed and inspired by the customer service at Holmes. From Ms. Ann Smith of the sales department to the guy working with the lift , everybody treated us with so much attention and kindly, even knowing that we were looking to buy just four pieces of wood. They just gained a raving fan.Looking forward to doing business with this company. That explain why this company is so many years in business.

Every time I go to Holmes I always have a great experience getting everything I need Mr Gene or Mr Randy always help me out picking the right item I need they're very courteous and friendly I would highly recommend this place for all your maintenance and Lawn Care needs that they can handle
