If I could give this location “0” stars I would. I rented a truck in advance only to arrive at the office to be told one wasn’t available!! Plans ruined! No accountability, unprofessional, trashy, and careless. Adonis Henry is a poor manager. He wouldn’t come out and speak with me. Do NOT give HERTZ your business EVER! More less the location at 6868 Florida Blvd needs to be shut down immediately!

I would like to thank my friends at Hertz car rentals especially Khofie Garner for working with me and helping with my rental and being compassion, caring and patienc with me I most definitely will be back again thank you so much again.

I booked a specific vehicle type online. I got a reservation number. I showed up at 2pm on a Friday as registered and was told that they don't have the vehicle. I guess it was the manager who said that Hertz always allows overbooking on the website. She said there was nothing they could do. They knew I was coming in for that vehicle. Why wouldn't they call me and let me know?
When I called Hertz, they said it was absolutely the store's fault that the vehicle was not there. The operator then said there was one available at another store for $500 more than the one I booked online.
Either way, the takeaway is don't trust Hertz or the store on Florida Blvd. Just rent through Enterprise and know what you are getting.

Worst customer service ever. Rented a car for a road trip to Tennessee. Got a flat on the way back, sidewall blowout. No spare in the trunk.
Without Hertz’s overpriced coverages, we were responsible for towing. Customer service told us we would be reimbursed for the cost of a new tire.
No problem, I used my AAA for the towing.
Go to return the car to the Florida Ave. location.
They had no idea about reimbursement for the tire we purchased for their rental vehicle. As if rental cars never get flat tires.
Never again Hertz, never again.

They accept the reservation on website and online even tho they don’t have available car. That is like wasting your time on this. No wonder they got bad reviews. There were two staffs and they were laughing at me behind my back.

I want to give a special thanks to the two employees that assisted me, Mr. Carmon and Ms. Khofie , I am greatly appreciative, for you're a professionalism kindness and attention to detail.
My car was ready on time. The employees greeted me properly as I walked in. The office is very clean and fresh. The two employees I interacted with were very professional dress well. I was stranded when I arrived, but by the time I left, I felt like I left with additional members to a family. This is the best location i've ever visited. I am a hertz gold plus member

Rented a passenger van same as another person and was canceled on a couple days before I needed it, limiting my ability to find another in time. I called the number to get a refund and they said they couldn't help me and forwarded me to a 1-800 number that also wasn't able to do anything. Called Expedia and after 30 minutes the Indian call center guy called this location to immediately be put on hold and hung up on by the staff, similar as to what happened to me earlier. Total waste of my time and am now out hundreds of dollars until the dispute I issued with my bank goes through. Less than worthless rental location considering all the time I have to waste going through the claims paperwork now.

If a ZERO was possible that would be my rating for this Hertz location, I have been trying to speak with someone there pertaining to my rental. First and far most upon answering the phone they place you on hold before you can utter a word. They are rude uncaring inconsiderate unfriendly of your time. And Adonis the manager looks like he’s confused and unsure if he’s coming or going. I was placed on hold for over 45 minutes. Called from another phone line Adonis answered explain to him how I had been on hold and the action on his employer, you think he would’ve apologized or said anything to try and make up for her rude actions, oh no not even that he would speak to her concerning her actions towards a PAYING CUSTOMER HELL HES JUST AS HORRIBLE AS HIS WORKERS ….. hope other customers read the reviews before they use this Hertz location!!!
To top it off the employee who picked me up to get the rental got lost THEN HAD THE NERVE TO STOP TO GET HIM SOMETHING TO EAT WHILE I SAT IN THE CAR WAITING OVER 20 minutes …. I had to get out of the car and go into the eatery to get him…. What the heck kinda of business is hertz running

I would get a -5 if possible. I tried to rent a 15 passenger van via Travelocity for 3/22-3/25. When my nephew arrived b4 me to confirm the rental since I was stuck in traffic. The person at the desk told him they did not have a 15 passenger van available and wouls not have one until the following day and thatvwas a maybe. They said they would cancel the reservation. Now I'm being charged 131.22. I callled travelocity the couldn't help since the charge came directly from Hertz. Customer is non existent. I waited onhold forn20 mon to be told by the automated system that customer service was closed. The contact us option on the website was not helpful since it does not leave a choice for my dispute/refund issue. All I want is my money back!!!

Update: The great price I was supposed to get was not honored, but I only learned this a month later after the credit card processed. I disputed the price, but Hertz says I only have the "estimate" and not the final cost, which I was never given paperwork that showed." I will NOT rent from HERTZ again.It's not their fault that Tesla's are poor build quality and fall apart and have too few shops who can fix them, but it's someone's fault that we got a letter stating we didn't return the car 2 weeks after returning it as agreed. There was also an extra $40 on the rental charge on my card with no explanation as to why. We went back for get a charge chord, but discovered it was broken when we went to plug it in, like many parts of the car. I'm all in on electric, but this was the junkiest car I've rented in decades.

Worst experience i had in a while getting a car. I literally paid for a car $500+ from them and they declined me because of age restrictions but allow the transaction to go through. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!

Shout out to Khofie and the entire team. It gets busy there but they’re always pleasant and helpful. I’m a repeat customer and will continue to be. Actually already booked my next rental. Thank you all!
