Gordon and Sandifer have always been great on service for our vehicles. We blew a tire on a boat trailer heading out of town and called them to get replacements. They said they could not take care of it for us but they recommended a shop that could! Great customer service. We will continue to do business with them!

For the the past 15+ years we’ve had far too many of our Kids’ cars involved in far too many collisions. g&S has always been the first people we call. They’ve been a trusted resource. They do excellent work and they communicate with us all along the way. The kids are finally grown, but we’ll continue to use and recommend Gordon & Sandifer for all of our auto repair needs.

Oil change, cabin air filter, and tire sensors changed.
This place is a staple in Baton Rouge because they are trustworthy.
The body shop does excellent work also.
Ask for Mark and tell him treys entrees sent you.
Food is mostly reviewed here but this place deserved a shout out.

I brought my car to get work done. Upon completion of my car my radio stop working and began blinking on a off (1 month later and it still is) my window doesn’t go down and park sense doesn’t work they removed my door panel and the passive touch didn’t work. My trunk spring went out and of course they said it needed to be replaced. I brought my car back to them 3-5 times only for them to fix my passive touch and to tell me they didn’t do nothing with electrical. My car was working perfect before the done work. I had Bullet damage to the car. The bullet didn’t hit anything electrical in fact I drove it there to drop it off and everything worked fine now the owner said it’s nothing they did. I’m totally pissed and regret going to them. Please don’t bring your car to them.

This place may have been well operated in the past, but that hasn't been our experience.
We took my wife's car here because the cigarette lighter, the radio, and the power for a side mirror wasn't working. A mechanic looked at the fuse box but couldn't fix the problem. They never placed the fuse box cover back correctly. This is important because it contains the diagram of fuse connections. My wife researched the issue, found exactly which fuse needed replacing, and fixed the problem herself for $5 for a box of replacement fuses of which she only needed 1 new fuse. I wondered why she, who doesn't know that much about cars, was able to diagnose the problem when the specialist at Gordon and Sandifer couldn't.
In a completely different situation, I brought my car here because I was having problems shifting in low gears. They recommended I bring my car to a transmission shop. It turns out the problem wasn't my transmission at all. It was low hydraulic fluid - something fairly easy to diagnose. There's a reservoir on top of the engine that clearly indicates if that fluid is low. I wondered why Gordon and Sandifer didn't at least check the hydraulic fluid or know that a low hydraulic fluid could cause that kind of problem with shifting. I've brought the same car here for years for oil changes. It seems like they would have at least checked my hydraulic fluid once during all those visits.
We stopped bringing our cars here because, as these examples show, we felt we weren't getting the best service.
