It was really nice but when I saw so shoes in the back of the store I asked the dude if there are for sell but he said that the tag was not on it and they would hold it for me for tomorrow but when I went there were nowhere in the store

Prices are up up up. People will smile and say hello but if you ask for help you will regret it. The answer is a frown and a no for most questions.

Can sometimes find really cute stuff but the employees wouldn't let us try on 2 tops because they were closing soon. When I worked retail we didn't think customer service stopped before closing time but maybe that's a company policy?

It is sad because this used to be one of my fav goodwills to go too! But the pricing is so high. Insultingly high! Because they are close to me, I try to stop by on occasion to see if they have gotten any better but I normally look at a few prices, sigh and leave. Yesterday I did the same. Freaking low quality (not leather!) barstools for $38 each! WHAT? I left, went to two other goodwills in town as well as two in the Denham/Walker area. My car was full of great items at great prices. The problem with pricing so high is it makes me not want to shop there. Pricing low or fairly gives me the positive vibes to keep shopping.

Store was really clean, well organized. Workers were patient and helpful. Some things may be a little overpriced, but I just put those things back on the shelf and kept on shopping... No biggie. Overall, nice store, I can't wait to go back.

Great experience! I found TONS of good products. I was in pure disbelief. The man checking me out at the cash wrap was also very helpful, nice, and patient considering I had tons of questions and was purchasing hundreds of dollars of items. It says User/Sales Rep is “RIHOF” on my receipt. Hopefully, that specifies who it was. I don’t remember his name, but he needs a raise! One of the best workers I’ve ever came across at a Goodwill, and I’m an AVID thrifter so that says something.

It's Goodwill... you know what to expect. Clean store, friendly staff.

Overpriced. Coffee cups $1.99. Dollar Tree merchandise $2.99. Don't waste your time.

Overpriced. $1.99 for a coffee cup or a saucer. Least expensive items start at $6.99. Dollar Tree merch at least $1.99. No warranty, refunds or exchanges for items they receive for free. Go elsewhere. They're rude and greedy here.

If I could give one star I would. Rudest workers I’ve ever seen. Workers Harass you as your getting in your car from the donation door. You cannot bring the buggy in the dressing room but if u don’t they take it? I went into goodwill today and left my buddy outside the dressing room. I came out and nobody knows where my Buggy went and it’s nowhere in sight.

Absolutely the most ridiculously priced Goodwill (or thrift store in general) I have ever been to (and I’ve been to many)! This Goodwill location has the most outrageous prices and I am truly in utter shock every time I’ve gone in and seen the prices. Like, it’s laughable. Someone else left in their review that the employees who price things take it way too personally, as if these are their personal belongings. I couldn’t agree more with this. The workers pricing the items seem for some insane reason to be attached and possessive of the items. It’s even more hilarious when you remember that these items were DONATED for FREE to the store. This is not Pottery Barn, nor is it an antique/vintage/consignment shop. Unlike those types of stores, they don’t pay a cent for these items they are charging ridiculous prices for. I am a customer of the Goodwill locations on Burbank, College and Coursey multiple times a week and have friendships with employees at each of those locations. It makes me very sad that on the few and far between occasions that I do stop by the O’Neal location I have repeatedly found that (1) the prices are laughably outrageous and (2) the customer service is awful. I have met ONE employee who actually was responsive and kind to me, and she only started working there within the last month. I can’t even imagine the idea of one of the other Baton Rouge locations charging the amount that O’Neal does on literally anything in the store. I love supporting Goodwill because I know they enable individuals with disabilities and other impairments to work and have support, but I don’t see how this location alone can begin to justify the ridiculous prices and rude, boastful attitudes of 99% of their employees. And I am well aware I’m not the only one who thinks this!
