This store is very very interesting. It is in a part of town that is considered "bad". If you can handle that, then this is a good store. You need to be on your toes. That's inside and out. I used to be a regular here so I'm probably giving some hometown love with the 5 stars.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! $7.50 for medium size gumbo-like tray. It's been reported unsanitary kitchen and roaches in food by customers. The guy that looks foreign is hostile toward those hanging outside after spending money in store. Just recently the window was broken out from glass door which indicate someone displeasure with something or someone; maybe even had a bad experience. The female worker who refer to foreign guy as "pappi", sometimes working register, always has a nasty look of disgust on her face and speak poor English. I went into store with a backpack on one occasion and next time I returned there was a handwritten sign on door that read "no backpacks". Should I say more......or do you need to experience for yourself?

Very interesting place being across from the Greyhound station but, overall had a decent experience with a well organized store and clean floors which tells a lot on how thing are ran in the area that people can't see. It is close to downtown and easy to find. The ON ramp to 110 is very close as well.

I did have a longer wait than usual. However as always, the service on my vehicle is excellent.

It's across the street from Greyhound. They have really good breakfast at this store. Eggs, grits, biscuits

When I'm headed Downtown Baton Rouge and need gas or a little quick snack Best Stop is my stop. They tend to have a few too many "Hang Arounds" hanging around outside. The bus station is across the street. One Love

When I couldn't get the dealership to service my vehicle, Don & the crew came to my rescue. Do to the Covid19 virus and being in high risk categories & couldn't risk sitting in a crowded waiting room for any length of time. Don called me when a mechanic became available, promptly addressed my issue and got me going in a minimum amount of time & a reasonable price. What more could I ask for! If you're looking for honesty, reliable service, and fair pricing, Simpsons is the place.
