I was visiting from Alabama and had asked a few locals where to find the best selection LSU and Louisiana inspired gifts.
The store is AMAZING! I was able to get the entire family outfitted in LSU gear and even picked up a few cool shirts of their Homegrown collection. The owner personally helped me with sizes for everyone.
The attention to detail and customer service was one of the best shopping experiences I had ever had! Don’t bother with campus bookstore.

We were excited to see the selection at Bengals and Bandits because they have great products. While shopping at the location adjacent Blue Bayou, my wife received an important phone call from work. She ducked off in a corner to answer it as she is a health professional and the call was private. While speaking on the phone she was yelled at by the owner for standing close to the back office which had the door open. He yelled at her while she was on the phone and then proceeded to loudly tell his employee that the 'back door shouldn't be open and we need to keep these customers from going where they're not allowed', three times. He yelled at my wife then loudly yelled at his employee three times. While I understand the sentiment, I will never be ok with my wife being treated this way and we will never be providing Bengals and Bandits with our business again.

This is a cool store with a lot of selection and t-shirt designs you don't find anywhere else. As a graphic designer myself, I appreciate good design when I see it. It's also cool to see some of the old LSU designs being brought back to life. Keep up the good work!

I like the shirts, and didn’t even mind paying a little more than the average shop, but after wearing it twice and it ripping… ?P.S. it’s worth mentioning that I did send an email in with photos and they were very responsive to acknowledging Perhaps it was a run of quality on this particular batch, and they will be making it right and replacing the garment.

Great spot for unique LSU gear. They even have ties and bow ties for formals. I stop in and shop every time I'm in BR.
