When I see Best Western I think exeptional brand, cleanliness, excellent customer service. The room was not clean. Clothing tag pieces on the floor, food under the bed, stained top sheets, and hair on the toilet. We were given another room, and the chair had icing crumbs in it, one bed was very squeaky like it was broken. This was very disappointing. I felt like I was at an unclean, cheap motel. This hotel is in the perfect location, but that is all that gets a good rating from me. The rooms were adequate but not clean. See pics. We checked in and the gentleman at the counter was nice and pleasant, but when we got into the room we found hair in the tub, a bar of used soap in the shower and the bathroom in general looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Good thing we take Lysol and disinfectant with us when travel (a must these days).It really is a shame since the property is ok. We took pics and showed the gentleman at the front desk and he made a note of it and he asked us to show the pics to the manager in the morning.The manager was apologetic and offered to refund us 50% of the cost of our room. Fair enough. That was Sunday morning. I called this evening (Monday) because the refund hadn’t posted to my card yet and the manager was already gone. The gentleman on the phone was rude and hung up.I will not stay at this hotel again. Well worth the extra $20-$30 to stay at the Drury next door.

Stayed 01/2023. Front desk staff were rude. Housekeeper on her phone the whole time, so forget about asking for anything.Room smelled like like an unclean pet room covered with stale, cheap fragrance.While getting ice in the morning, staff stood there staring at me looking perturbed.Been using Best Western as a traveler for a very long time.switching over to IHG.The staff made that an easy decision.

As soon as we walked into our room, it smelled moldy! I always check the beds and the sheets were filthy with dirt, stains and hair. Within 5 minutes of being in the room, I saw a roach on the night stand! The carpet was dirty and the furniture had not been dusted in quite a while! I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL!

Unfortunately, I hate to be negative or report this but room 324 is infested with roaches. I walked in the room and immediately noticed several around the A/C and window. I crushed one and tried to tell myself the situation was ok and to not panic. I then saw SEVERAL more crawling behind the electrical plug and other crevices. I called the front desk and the gentleman was very nice and it was his first day. He smashed a few of the roaches with a plastic cup and tried to reassure me everything was ok. He told me if I saw anymore to let him know and he would come back up and crunch them again. I can’t make this up if I tried. I have travelled for work for the past 8 years and have never seen bugs in any room I’ve stayed in. I’ve already contacted Best Western HQ but wanted to share my experience here as well. The hotel has a serious roach problem.

I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was quiet. The parking lot is well lit. The young lady at the front was very nice and helpful.

Basically, the worst hotel ever stayed at! AC was not working. Room smelled & was musty! It was so disgusting! We were also not able to use the pool. I don't understand how you can charge me full price for my stay when they could not even provide ac & a clean bed/carpet.Rooms: We walked into our room, and it was extremely hot!The ac was not working properly. Touched the beds, and they seemed wet. Carpet was dirty.Safety: They were renovating and at times we saw equipment in different spots of the hotel. The pool was also closed.

This is a great property. Had nothing but excellent service from the front desk, to the housekeepers and the gentleman that does the maintenanceCurrently doing some renovations so if the pool is a must you may want to contact them first, was not an issue for us.

Room was musty. It needs quite a lot of repairs. Beds are hard and very uncomfortable. The bed sheet had a cigarette burn mark. Silver fish in the bathroom. Our toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Asked for a plunger. They didn’t have one available. So we purchased our own! Elevator was wonky! Pool was closed. All over not a great stay.

This has to be the worse best western we have stayed at. They are currently doing renovations, but that didn't excuse the disgusting features of this hotel. To start the lugange cart tires were flat. The free breakfast had a horrible taste to it, maybe because of the water quality. The hotel just past the lobby smelled of weed and musty old hotel. The room had pictures missing off the walls, it smelled of moldy urine smell to it. The shower curtain rod was barley hanging on, and there were yellow mildly stains coming from the ceiling of the shower. And we stayed in a renovated room. The staff was super friendly and it was in a great location. But I would not recommend staying here.

I came to this hotel for an LSU game and I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff, room, and breakfast was amazing! My bed was extremely comfortable and it was perfect location to everything. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area.

The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room is clean and has no odor of any kind. The tub doesn't look the cleanest but nothing some bleach can't fix. The most disappointing part was the indoor pool not being open due to COVID. If I had known that before booking, I would have booked somewhere else. Overall not bad.

I was not happy at all about this hotel. So glad I only stayed 1 night. I had to wait 5 minutes on someone at the front desk just to get checked in. Then she never said hello or welcome to Best Western. She asked do you have a reservation, I said yes and then she told me she would need my ID and a credit card to keep on file. She handed me my card for the lock and told me second floor. That is not a very welcoming exchange. Then the fan in the bathroom made a horrible loud noise so we couldn't turn the light on in there. The tub was dirty and it has a dirty washcloth over the shower rod. The carpet was dirty and old and smelled bad. The pool and spa was shut down which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel to begin with. Then the breakfast had the most disgusting eggs. Plus the person who I would assume is the cook for them was eating all the food. She ate 2 of the last black cherry yogurts left and a bagel. Plus sausage and eggs.
