On Aug 2024, after I drove two hours from Texas to do our monthly commissary shopping. I handled two coupons for $1.00 off, on $1.26 Valley Granola Bars boxes. The cashier started going through my pack bags looking if I had purchased 4 boxes. All this drama wasn't worth buying some granola bars.
So, I told the cashier to remove the granola boxes from my receipt. After I get my food loaded on my truck, I find the fourth granola bar box. Which I returned for a $1.26 refunded.
I spend $300 today in the commissary, and the staff member is worried about $1.26. Maybe if she would had scan the coupon she would had found out that I had 4 boxs as stated in the coupon.
I wished I had written her name down, she did try to check my Integrity, unprofessional service.

It's nothing like being taken care of by the military. I'm a 100% veteran, and having the privilege to shop and save is a blessing. The military strives to help veterans have a good quality of life after serving. The commissary is where I shop all the time. The prices can not be beat or the brands we buy. The baggers are always helpful and kind. No long lines most days, and what I need is mostly in stock. Every military person should go to the commissary.

I went with a friend to the Barksdale Commissary for the first time, and I liked it. It had everything that you may need without having to leave the base. I look forward to going back with her again one day.

honestly I have never had an issue with customer service here, but the fact that they keep expired items on their shelves (even after being told the items were expired) upsets me. I should always check, but sometimes I’m in a rush and grab things off the shelf and go. I got canned sauce from the front of the shelf and it expired March of 2023. It is almost March of 2024. this is ridiculous. Also happened with yogurts and pedia sure drinks for my toddler, months expired.

Pretty solid with the products and customer service! My only problem is that they don't restock quick enough on there most sale items.

Good prices, nice selection. Their sushi is better than what I've gotten at some restaurants. I don't really bother shopping at any other grocery store.
