American Ace Hardware Inc. is a locally owned and helpful hardware store. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They greet customers with a hello and a smile, answer questions quickly, and explain things clearly without making people feel small. Employees know the entire inventory and can find items right away. If they do not know something, they find someone who does. Their knowledge in areas like electrical and plumbing is unmatched. The store provides personal service and quality products. During difficult times, like a freeze, the staff kept level heads and were wonderful. While prices can be higher than big box stores, the excellent service makes it the preferred place, especially when in a pinch. The store also offers convenient services like propane, which is competitively priced. As the helpful hardware folks in the neighborhood, helping customers is their most important task.
This is the place to go when you need to find the hard to find items. The big brand shops seldom have all that I'm looking for so when I'm in a hurry this is the place.

Very helpful folks. If they don't know the information you need they'll ask someone there who does instead of leading you on a goose chase. Also their propane is cheaper than TSC up the road. They also don't increase propane prices when a hurricane approaches/hits.
