“We unfortunately had to let our dog go today. I can’t express enough how amazing the veterinary staff were in assisting us. We’ve always used them as a vet and they’ve always been great to us, but today especially. I can never fully express my gratitude for their professionalism and care in handling our sweet boy. Will never use another vet as long as we’re in NOLA ❤️”
“Love this place - they may have crazy business hours, but their assortment of reusable materials and hardware is second to none in the Greater New Orleans area. I never leave empty handed. From an old mason jar full of mixed screws and hooks to antique French doors, there's bound to be a treasure for every patron waiting around any of its numerous corners and crevices. With incredibly reasonable (sometimes negotiable) pricing, I make an effort to stop at The Green Project before heading to those big box hardware stores for most accoutrements. If you like the atmosphere of a hardware store flea market and don't mind getting a little dirty while digging, you'll love it. The staff are always laid back and ready to assist in any way they can.”

“Wonderful place for bird watching. Went there to watch bird banding - an excellent adventure for families and anyone else interested in birds. Picnic tables and restrooms were provided.”
“Found the perfect desk that I've been needing for my home office. Solid wood, in impeccable condition, priced at $65, but they were taking 50% off all furniture, so it only cost me $32.50 The floor sales associate was very polite and helpful --very professional. Same with the cashier and the guys in the back. All of them showed excellent service skills, stemming -I'm sure- from a genuine desire to make a positive difference for their customers. Highly recommended!”
“Love the place it was open to all. You can tell that’s they help out with issues or people in the area that needed help. The church was wide open so you are able to go and pray. The area was clean. Well lit also. The “giving thanks” area was also something to speak about with all the families giving thanks for everything. It was something great to see.”
“I honestly must say that I have never had a team of professionals be so good to me...Leanne Demonredon,Dr.chandler, Adam Rivas, and my nurse Edwa, you are all amazing and caring.I honestly have never had an experience like this ever.I am so grateful, thank you for everything you do for me.Yall truly amaze me”
“Put this charity on your must donate list comparable to the salvation army or the red cross. They are doing a lot for the homeless in New Orleans. They need your help today.”
“Most of the employees are super friendly and nice. I like that they keep shoppers in check. Hardly ever have kids running around like other locations and the security guards are pretty attentive as well.”

“This is a magical place which has been a port in the storm for my family. It is wonderful to know that your children are happy, safe, and loved everyday. I have complete trust in the staff and as a board member, I can attest to the quality of the thoughtful leadership that creates a supportive and accountable community. My children are happy well adjusted kids and I attribute that to the care they have received while at Abeona. The teachers are thoughtful careful caring folks who have continued to provide an amazing environment despite the pandemic and the many challenges they have faced. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.”
“This group does great things for the community which needs it the most! Great people doing great work!! Thank y'all for what you do!! God bless y'all!!”
“I loved being at Waldo Burton. I was there from 1978 until I graduated in 1988. Mr Stroup, Me. Jorge, Mr. Fred, Mr A. Grimes, Mrs. Waymon were my counselors. At a young age they installed integrity, Loyalty, tolerance among other values that remain with me to this day. I was given a foundation to be independent and compassionate towards others. I joined the Marines after graduation from Waldo Burton and remain friends with the counselors and still visit from time to time till this very day.”
