Their pharmacy section is getting better and much quicker when handling lines for prescription pickups, last two times I went in , I didn't have to wait more then 5 minutes to pickup rx!

Absolutely the worst pharmacy customer service ever at the, Jackson Street in Alexandria location. They are slow, rude , and completely incompetent and inconsiderate. Do not attempt a call for complaint. They are the prescription gods and you must bow down. They need a complete overhaul.

Says they are open 24 hours for pharmacy I would have sent my Rx to a closer store they were rude said no one would be there till 8 even though they are open 24/7 they should have someone there for emergencies

Worst place to get medicine. Pharmacy is slower than a snail. Ridiculous when you gotta wait in line for over an hour inside or drive thru just to get medicine.

I stood in line for 40 minutes just to drop my prescription off. I was told that my prescription would be ready in an hour, It wasn't ? I came back the next day to pick up my prescription. This time I went through the drive-thru. I was in the drive-thru from 3:27 P M - 5:47 P.M. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

I would rather spend a day on a shark, snake, alligator invested island with no water or nutritional provisions than get another prescription filled at Walgreens on Jackson, Street. To sum up my many 1 star experiences: arrive at Walgreens, stand in 12 deep line for 30 minutes to simply pick up a prescription that was called in three days prior to be told that the RX was never filled? Ask why? Reply, “it just wasn’t filled.” Then I’m instructed to wait an additional 30 minutes and make my way through the now 20 deep line for an antibiotic. I’d rather risk losing a limb than deal with this pharmacy. This is just a normal day of operations for this inefficient pharmacy in an underserved community. The Walgreens corporation should be ashamed of itself for not adequately staffing this pharmacy to ensure folks can receive much needed medication in a time efficient manner. CVS is no better. From this on point on Rays Apothecary will be the only pharmacy I’ll ever use in Alexandria. In case you’re wondering, I’m writing this review as I am waiting again (this time in the drive through) for my antibiotic from Saturday.

THIS IS ONE OF THE FILTHIEST WALGREENS IVE EVER SEEN! WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING THE EXTERIOR NEEDS TO BE FIRED!! SHAME ON YOU CORPORATE FOR ALLOWING THIS LOCATIONTO LOOK LIKE THIS! I WILL BE CONTACTING CODE AND ENFORCEMENT AND YOU WILL BE FINED! LOCK UP YOUR DUMPSTER TO AVOID DUMPSTER DIVING!!
