So glad I called Hathorne. I little expensive but well worth the price. They packed most of my things and transported everything to a storage unit 40 miles away. The guys were very professional and made sure everything was protected.

I was looking forward to moving to Texas to a new house after living years in Louisiana, but dreading the actual move. Who to get to move our items? Can they drive my items to another state? I need to leave my house, but not ready to move into new house.
One call to Hathorn and Katie made it simple and affordable.
I was able to store my items at Hathorn until I needed them, and was even given a credit when I discovered I could move sooner.
Not one single item was damaged or went missing.
The three movers were experts at maneuvering the truck to my location, were very timely, and the best - they were the three friendliest and helpful guys ever! The move in was actually fun.
I highly recommend Hathorn Transfer and Storage. I will be forever grateful to Katie.

I am not as satisfied as last time when I had no damage. So far, I am not finished unpacking but I have a broken stool and a broken screen on one of my large screen TV.

We had a very complicated move clearing our elderly parents home after our father’s death. We had shipments going to four different locations from Texas to Michigan. Katie Mathew’s, the Operations Manager at Hathorn guided us with many helpful suggestions and a great deal of patience! All members of the packing/loading crew were professional, extremely helpful and reassuring as my sister and I dealt with this huge task during a difficult time. The total cost came in under our budget which was a really nice bonus. Huge thank yous to all our new friends at Hathorn Transfer and Storage in Alexandria, Louisiana!!!
