My husband seen a John Deere lawnmower online. I went to the store and seen the same mower was $200 more in the store. So I asked the associate in the store could I pay for the mower online and pick up the mower at the store. NO, we couldn't do that. We could have paid for it online but we would have had to wait for them to ship a mower to the store. Keep in mind d the store has the mower at the store. Which would have taken a couple of weeks. SO I went to our local John Deere dealer and BOUGHT the same lawnmower. 100 dollars less than what our local Home Depot was asking, and 100 dollars more than Home Depot online. Before anyone shops at Home Depot check your small hometown stores, you will probably get better prices and a whole lot better customer service.

I live in Alexandria, but travel all over America, this is by far the worst Home Depot you will ever find. You'll have to ask 4 people (if you can find them) for help in the paint department, and they will all say "not me". And that's it, not go find someone, call anyone, just walk off. This has happened to me multiple times. I live 3 minutes away, but will generally drive further to Ace or Lowes if it's something I will need an associate to help me with. They are an embarrassment to the locals of Alexandria.

Fyi Alexandria Home Depot doesn't honor internet prices even when you check that particular store on line. Clerk said we don't match internet prices!!

Well the only hope you have In the store is to deal with an assistant manager to help you place your order and then pray no one goes behind you and changes everything around like your delivery dates!!!! We stayed inside of the store for about 3 hours to make 3 basic purchase. The cashiers have no clue on what they are doing they can't even read your invoice to tell you what she's charging you for. I have never in my life heard someone that's charging your card thousands of do

I know this has got to be the worst of the worst customer service lumber stores I have ever been to. I asked a worker to help me load 2x10x10 on to a cart, she told me no, she couldn't do that. I waited 15 minutes no one came to help me, then I went to check out the rudest lady sitting on a chair, checked me out and I asked if she could find someone to load me stuff on my truck . Again, I waited outside by my truck for 10 minutes when I asked again she said she had already called 4 times, in a very rude tone of voice. Like I was bothering her. And to make things even worse there was a man leaning over a register right across talking to two cashiers and I tried to get his attention and I guess they all had limited vision cause if you couldn't see me you would have to be blind. Finally, he came after I started saying, that this was ridiculous. He said he didn't see me, well he should have been looking toward the doors, doing his job instead of flirting with the two cashiers. I will not be going there any time soon. I would rather pay twice the amount of the same product and get better customer service then having such a terrible experience.
