I bought a used car and a check engine light came on. I was sent to National Transmission because they honor the maintenance/repair service I use. The guys at this shop are so down to earth and extremely helpful. They hooked up their scanner, found the issue, even put the car on the rack to take a closer look finding issues that would be costly and pop up later, and submitted a claim. But even though my policy deferred the claim to a dealership due to a warranty coverage, these guys offered sound advice which lead to my swapping for a more mechanically sound vehicle from the used car company I had purchased from as I was still in the 7 day test drive period.If you want a mechanic that you can trust, that is extremely knowledgeable, and very eager to genuinely help you, then the guys at National Transmission are who you need to partner with. I am blown away and so very grateful by the help they willingly offered.

Went in not knowing what was wrong with my Rogue other than it possibly being a transmission problem. They diagnosed the problem, advocated for me with my warranty company, and got it fixed. My car is driving better than ever. The guys were very helpful, super nice, and patient with us as we asked questions. 100% recommend to everyone!Services: Transmission

This business provides the customer service that all businesses could learn to provide. The catalytic converters on my truck had been stolen while I was in Dallas. I had them replaced in Dallas and one of them failed after I returned to Alexandria. The staff at National Transmission went the extra mile to help coordinate the replacement and contacted the dealer in Dallas and the supplier to get a new converter delivered to them and then arranged their schedule to get it put on my truck in a timely manner. I had muffler delete done on my challenger and the staff were nice and answered all of my questions promptly, the service was done super quick and whomever the tech was that actually did the job deserves a raise bc he was very personable, polite, professional, and seemingly really enjoyed doing the work he did. My car sounds exactly like I wanted and the price was def reasonable. The whole experience was surprisingly pleasant and I'd def recommend them to anyone wanting a similar job done on their ride.
