Trust worthy. It's a great feeling going to a shop and knowing they will take care of you without adding on unnecessary things. For example. A fee years ago I had just bought a second hand car, went for an oil change. Mr. T Rob told me my oil was great and could go probably another 2000 miles. He could have done the oil change anyway.
They now have a new owner who is also a mechanic. I was having trouble with my air conditioning in my car. I paid another mechanic who took advantage of me in total about 1800.00 with it breaking 3 more times after he "fixed it" I took it to the new owner at T-Robs and he was so sweet and understood what I had been through. At the end of the day, I picked up my car. AC working and he only charged me 60.00. So with all that being said. I trust them and being able to trust someone who is working on your vehicle is a wonderful feeling. If there was an option to give more than a 5 star I would. They deserve it.”

“A co-worker recommended this shop for my wife’s car. The vehicle is a Kia K-900 which are rare and parts are hard to find. The A/C stopped cooling and it was brought to the local Lafayette Kia dealership for diagnosis and repair and the estimate was 1800$ for a “leaking evaporator” which even I knew was not leaking so I sought a second opinion and was quoted around 600$ at Nu-Tek with a different diagnosis. The original repair was going to require that the whole dashboard be removed but after replacing the compressor valve and re-charging the system (which was included with the quote) the A/C is fixed. The car was there for a week only because they had to order the part but once the part arrived the car was ready that day. Great communication from staff and friendly service. On a different note, I brought my work truck (Mack dump truck) there a year ago for A/C repair and have had no issues since. Not sure if they routinely work on commercial vehicles like this but they took care of it in one day.”

“I can't say thank you enough I had what I thought was alt alternator problems I called him and he gave me a price for swapping out,and he could have sold me right there but he said a bad battery can cause same issue an said he wouldn't swap anything until I checked my battery,well he was right bad battery,thanks I know you didn't get this job but I will refer you, thanks”

“Last night around 9:00 pm our Chevy Silverado overheated with a broken water pump. We had to park and leave it directly across the street from Ray Chevrolet. This morning at 7:00 am my husband went to the dealership to see if they could fix it for us. We are from VA and currently on vacation in LA....so not current customers. HOWEVER, 3 hours later they had retrieved the truck and repaired the truck!!! Purchase your next vehicle from Ray Chevrolet....service there is awesome!!!
