This past January 11th, 2023 we rented a Penske 22-footer for our move to Macon Georgia from W.A.S.. And she was a MONSTER DIESAL. I think I'm ready for my CDL license NOW after that trip?. Staff was absolutely fantastic and helped get us ready for our Journey.Found out the owner's birthday was the same day as mine - January 27th, hence our 2-7 fingers in the photos.Had a bunch of great looking cars and trucks and their office was like a catch-all for all things cool in Winchester i.e they had a guitar which I played a bit, which delayed us packing up our stuff into the truck by about 25 minutes LOL. Gotta stop and be creative esp. during stressful times such as moving folks.Gotta Thank our great neighbor Mickey Reed for his exceptional help. Couldn't've done it WITHOUT YA!!!! THIS POST IS TO BRING AWARENESS!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM WINCHESTER AUTO SALES the owners name is Randy and he's a total crook. He has done nothing but lie and manipulate us. He's put my kids lives in danger and even threatened us. My boyfriend lost his job and I am now on the verge of losing mine. A few weeks ago I started having car issues with my vehicle we were told it was most likely the motor which is a few thousand dollar job. So we put it in the shop and needed something to get us to and from work. It didn't have to be perfect we wanted to keep it around $2000. We had a really hard time finding anything at all without major issues. We come across this 03 Kia Sorento for $1800 we call the guy (randy) he says the car is great for the price it will last a long time and continued to tell us how great, reliable, and safe the car is. Now we aren't from here we don't know anyone and our car clearly couldn't get us to Winchester. randy told us he would bring the car to us and we could drive the car back to his store and sign papers so we said ok. We drive the car back it seems decent I tried to talk to my bf about how he liked it and randy just kept talking and talking. now we realize it was to keep us from noticing anything going on in the car or anything he covered up. Which we quickly did notice upon driving off the lot. (We are not mechanically inclined) we know the basics we put all our trust in this guy told him our situation and at the time he seemed genuine. He asked us all about our kids and my biggest concern before buying that I expressed to randy was it being safe for them. And he reassured us non stop. Well here is everything that has happened from purchasing the car on 4/19 upto today 5/5. After signing the papers and pay we get in our car and try to turn the car on and it stalls. (When randy brought the car to us he didn't turn it off we just got in and started driving so we didn't know this was an issue in the car.) second we go to the nearest gas station and put $40 in gas. Randy had said he put $20 in to get the car to us and was almost on e. As we're driving back to Richmond the smell of gas consumed the car and we started to feel sick. We got home and parked. We were relieved we had a vehicle to get to and from work regardless of the issues because we were worried about my bf losing his job. We decided we would use this strictly for work and errands as we only needed it for a month or so till we had the money to put in our original vehicles motor. The next day we get in the car and realize there's gas leaking we ran two in town errands and our gas gauge goes on e then starts fluctuating. We also noticed as we were cleaning the car a freshly put sticker over the engine light that was on we noticed the exposed wires under the wheel were taped with electrical tape. Our gear shift started making a huge clunk when shifting. We go home very frustrated. I contact randy tell him what's going on with the vehicle he says he's not responsible or obligated because we bought the car as is but he will have his mechanic fix whatever is wrong with the gas leak. It was a process getting him to even get the car he was so inconsistent we had to bug and bug and finally tell him we were going to sue. We were stressed we gave all our savings for this car so we had a way to work and now we still didn't have a vehicle to get to work. He finally gets the car two days later then the mechanic keeps the car almost a week after saying we'd have it before Monday and says he fixed a list of things. We get the car back I goto work that next day and on my way home the breaks stop working I panic called randy and says again he's not obligated but he'll have his mechanic do all the break lines we say ok. The mechanic and my bf talk and plan the day to get the car then we stop hearing from him and he never got the car. So figure screw it we got an oil change and had the breaks bled that seems to fix the break issue just enough to get us to and from work ok. Th

Found a car there a few weeks ago that is still running well. Very affordable cars. On site mechanic looked over the vehicle before purchase to prevent any concerns. Are there minor issues? Yes, but nothing that wasn’t disclosed at time of purchase. Owner went the extra mile in making sure our needs were met.
