Besides the obvious convenience of being right across the street, just in case you're in the middle of a recipe and realize you're out of an ingredient, the food, as well as the service, are always top notch. It gives that down home, Sunday afternoon when the entire family would gather at granny's after church kinda feeling, something I think the whole world could use a lot more of.”

This is still one of the little country cafés/diners that has fantastic food. Not nearly enough left as use to be, but this place is definitely worth checking out if you haven't yet. “A small hole in the wall spot. Delicious food. I ordered a carne asada taco, a pastor sope and a carne asada pancho. The service was not too great. At first the server took my order and I asked her if she would remember my 3 items. She said she would and 5 mins later she came back to ask me to repeat my order because she forgot. She was probably new because she didn't really know the menu and I just stopped asking and ordered. I would go again just to try different things in the menu as their food had really good flavor.”

“My car overheated on 15 the other day, and I was able to make it to their beautiful, wonderful, well lit parking lot. The employees here are AMAZING! They helped me look for a pair of gloves to wear, offered advice and assistance, and ultimately a warm place to wait for a trailer to come pick up my car. A good samaritan mechanic even came over on his way out of the store and helped diagnose the cause of my engine overheating. This Dollar General was a god-send, and I will definitely be back to shop in the future.”

“Nice people, and very convenient for me with it only being a couple blocks from my house, prices are pretty fair , and every time I go they seem to always have a section or an area with items that they may have to many of, or items they are discontinuing or may no longer plan to carry, anywhere from 25% to 50% off and it's not uncommon to see 75% off some things maybe once a month or once every couple of months. Happy shopping”

“Excellent grocery store that is well stocked and clean. I generally find everything I want although I often use their Clicklist and find that many products are "in store only" which is a little frustrating. Overall, though no complaints, the staff is very helpful, the quality of fresh items is very good. my only suggestion/wish is that they would carry more "ethnic products" by expanding their Hispanic, Asian, etc. sections with with actual high-quality products from these regions”

“Easy in! Not so much after you're in!!Can't find anyone for assistance in any dept and when you do find someone, they're on their phones!! And then they act like you are a nuisance!!And then when you go to check out...psst good luck with that!! Maybe 1 register with a living, breathing cashier and the rest are the check yourself out lanes!! And most of those will be blocked off due to not enough workers!!It's just a headache anymore shopping at Walmart!!! Sorry!!!”

“With the coronovirus advisories to avoid crowds, this week I tried two Kroger offerings that were new to me: (1) pick up ordering and (2) home delivery. They both worked great. For the pickup, my only problem was finding the pickup spot (it's behind the pharmacy pickup window....on the south wall of the building); the clerk delivered the bags to my car and gave me a receipt clearly denoting what was there and what was out of stock. Good service! Only added cost would have been approx $5 but waived for first few orders. For the delivery, the system sent me status when the picking began, updated on every item not in stock and offered substitutes for my response. Actual delivery was within 15 minutes of my request and very pleasant delivery person. Only added cost was approx $9 for pick and deliver. These are two excellent services and others should try....especially if you're ill, homebound, or if you're trapped in a pandemic!”
