Had my car in another shop 4 times and they couldn't fix it. Took it to these guys and they got me in quickly and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem. They will be getting all of mine, and my families business from now on!

I always take trips out of state, I take the beast to 5 star for Mike to check out and get her ready to run hard for a month or so. The beast always gets me to Florida and back safe and fast thanks to Frank and Mike

I had an exhaust problem on my vehicle. Another shop only made the problem worse whilst also making it difficult for me to replace what turned out to just be a stopped-up muffler. The boys at 5 Star replaced the muffler for me in about 30 minutes or so even though it required some customization due to the work done by the other shop.I could not be happier. The vehicle is now smooth and quiet like brand new. 5 Star is my new go to shop for all my automotive repairs. Great work at a fair price. Highly recommended!

5 Star is awesome! These guys made getting my fuel pump replaced as easy as it could be! The price I was quoted on the phone is exactly what I paid out the door. I even showed up about 30 mins late for my appointment and they took care of me without any grief. 5 Star is a fitting name!For any repairs outside of your ability, I recommend these guys!

Excellent customer service! Professional and helpful. Water pump went out while on vacation from Georgia. The staff went above and beyond to help us secure a rental car and get us back in our vehicle with the least amount of stress and cost. Highly recommend them. Great warranty, too.

I highly recommend this place!I visited this mechanic around a year or so ago and totally forgot to leave a review until I just called them again recently.My first visit was shocking. As someone who doesn't know my way around the mechanics of cars very well, I could have been taken advantage of. They did not do this. Very honest. My car was quoted as needing two brake lines replaced. I agreed to have them both done, they gave me the estimate. When I picked my car up, they told me they only charged me for one because the other one was still good. I've been to a few other places that would have just charged me anyway.And as far as my recent call, when I told them I may need some transmission work done, they didn't even try to get me in for a diagnostic. Instead they referred me on down the road to a transmission shop. Easily could have made some money for an inspection, but did not.When I moved to Winchester I was still going to my old mechanic in Lexington. I'm glad I found this shop instead.
