June 2024 we made our road trip from Florida to Iowa. The check engine light came on and the AC stopped working. Ambient temperature was 99F that day so this was an urgent situation. Sherry and her son Darryl were awesome. So positive and ready to help us! Darryl diagnosed exactly the problem - a faulty electronic thermostat leading to a fuse shorting out. They didn't have the part but the expert diagnosis made it possible for us to find a dealer a little further down the road who replaced the faulty part and we were back on the road!

My car broke down on the way home to TN from Lexington outside of Williamsburg. D&D really took care of me and got me back on the road as soon as possible - and for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!!! GO CATS!

We had front left tire ready to explode and pulling our fifth wheel through the mountains, couldn’t go on. We dropped the trailer at nearest campground and limped into D&D based on their online reviews. They changed out the damaged tire for our spare and Sherry went over and above expectations researching, making calls, compiling comparisons and drove over to our campsite to deliver results of her inquiries. Referred us to a competitor that could get us back on the road asap. Truly the best humans I’ve met in a long time and we are so grateful for their kindness and help. Highly recommend, eternally thankful!

STORY TIME:
I live 6 hours away from this place and was traveling when my Lincoln Navigator broke down a SUNDAY, of all days. We believed it was the starter. My road side service got T& H towing( I think that’s the company and they too are great!) to towed me there. I was in an area I knew nothing about or no one, with no advice or anyone to ask on a good honest local place to have it looked at. Not to mention it was also Presidents’ Day on Monday but luckily they opened on Monday(small towns like that you never know if they would open). They not only got my car fixed in record time, I am sure because they knew I was traveling, but they were so nice and honest as well! Such good people who looked like they were busy by the amount of cars that arrived just since my car was there, which was just over night!! They don’t take card but we got cash from the ATM at Fortch Bank(I think Thats the name).
Go here if you are stuck and if it’s in your road side assistance mile limit! Let them know about this review as they may not even check this(they don’t take card so they may not look at these reviews). We stayed at the Hampton Inn off the interstate(on 92) and it was just down the road from the repair shop. Thank you again to this business for helping me and stay sweet and honest!
