“My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights when we were in town for a Red's game. We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was super nice and personable. They were warm and welcoming. Our room was super clean. The attention and effort they put into cleaning the room was obvious. The location was perfect. We could drive to a gas station in less than a minute without getting back on the main roads. We walked 2 minutes to the movie theater next door. And I-275 is a quarter mile from the turnoff to the hotel. We were easily able to reach Florence, Newport and Covington in less than ten minutes. We felt safe in both the hotel and the parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no passing traffic. The breakfast is as nice as you will find anywhere. I will say the bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point had we been staying more than 2 nights we would've had to request a room change. Had the bed been more comfortable it would have been perfect.

Rooms: The room was extremely clean and well supplied. The rooms were also very spacious. The only issue we had was with the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. Had we been staying more than 2 nights we would have requested a room change..

Nearby activities: There is a very nice movie theater within a 2 minute walk. There are no attractions close by but we went to the Florence Mall, Covington and Newport on the Levee and they were all within 10 minutes due to I-275 being within 2 minutes of the hotel and easily accessible.

Safety: My wife and I felt safe the entire time, both in the hotel and parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no traffic passing thru on foot or by vehicle.

Walkability: There is a great movie theater within a 2 minute walk. Dairy Queen and Mellow Mushroom were close enough to walk. There were a few more restraunts and a gas station close by but they were far enough away up a steep incline that I wouldn't recommend walking.”

“So our trip started off horrible. For whatever reason our bank decided to not let any transaction above the daily atm limit go thru. It wouldn't be resolved until the following morning. After being on the phone with the bank for an hour after arriving at the hotel and getting nowhere, we now had to explain this to the hotel. I explained and asked if we could pay for the night and settle the remaining the next day. The hotel could have told us to kick rocks since they put a hold for the full amount. Instead he handed us our key cards, said go get settled in, and have a great evening and we could settle in the morning. This didn't have to be done and we could have had to find another hotel for a night. I can't tell you how much we appreciated this. The next morning after a lengthy apology from a customer service manager and a bank manager, we paid in full and we were so thankful for the consideration given to us. Yeah we know they had our car in the valet, but they didn't even have to let us check in and they certainly were gracious and went above and beyond. we even had to extend our trip by 4 days and they were able to squeeze us in and managed to keep us in the same room.I wish I wrote everyone's name down and I feel bad bc I had the honor to have multiple conversations with various staff during our stay. But I only remember Andrew by name, but he and the rest of the staff MADE my trip. Exceptional service is just another day of the week to these people and they're the ones who made this trip and make us want to come back to the Lytle. So to the staff of the Lytle, from the front desk, to the bar/restauraunt, the ones who cleaned the room, the bellhops, the valets and everyone in between. Thank you.Rooms: Our room was really really really good. Spacious, well decorated and clean. We had a suite with a soaking tub and I used that thing every damn day. Highly recommend coming with bath salts or a bath bomb.Nearby activities: There's alot more to Cincinatti that I thought. As I've only ever driven thru, there's so many great places to eat and visit. We''ll be back to do just that.Food & drinks: The restaurant upstairs and the one downstairs are gorgeous. Upstairs is the view, you can see a large portion of the riverfront and across to the Kentucky side. It's gorgeous at night! The weather was cold most of the time we were there so we couldn't sit outside, but inside is no less nice.We spent some time downstairs at the bar, the staff is top notch. I highly recommend trying the the Vanilla Pear Mule for something different and the gelato for the dessert. Probably the best salted caramel gelato I've ever had.”

“It is a nice hotel overall and the attached restaurant (Metropole) is fabulous for breakfast. We had the corner room (a nice complimentary upgrade) which was said to be the nicest in the hotel. Three items did not function as they should - safe, bedside lamp, in-house phone. However someone came quickly to fix the safe. We did not mention the lamp and the front desk was notified of the phone issue. We needed the phone to call for the valet 20 minutes prior to needing our car. Instead my husband needed to go down to the lobby and request the car. The room could use a pick me up - looked a little worn but nothing too extreme. The room was very spacious for the three of us. We did not use either but it was nice that two tvs were included. The bathroom was nice - double sinks, artistic tiles, shower and tub, and fabulous smelling luxury hand soap! The king bed was comfortable. For a room this size and price I felt that it should have included a microwave but maybe that is just me. The location was what seemed like a great location if we wanted to walk around the area however our schedule did not allow it. The art museum within the hotel is very cool and was a great way to spend a little extra time that we had. Complimentary bourbon tastings in the evening were a nice touch but unfortunately we did not get to take part. Overall it was a nice stay!”

“Absolutely wonderful stay. Clean, unique, a walkable to several local businesses, and great customer service. We ate both lunch and dinner in the restaurant and both were delicious! Our kids enjoyed how it felt like we escaped to a little English village and we were a close enough drive to the museum, aquarium, etc. Will stay here again.

Walkability: Several local shops like a bakery, toy store, and gift shop all close by. Beautiful neighborhood and parks you could walk through as well.”

“After hours of searching for a place to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary on 2/22, we landed on this place. We have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and didn't know what to expect. We got the Dream Suite. We alsp got the add on of the charcuterie board and wine. It was amazing! The breakfasts both mornings was delicious!!! The room was amazing. It was our best getaway ever. A place to recharge, relax, and reconnect. We will be back.... and check out one of the other amazing looking rooms.”

“This hotel is perfect! If you’re coming downtown to Newport Kentucky to walk around and check out all the restaurants, bars, distilleries, this is an easy place to stay. Lots to do around this area and it’s a real clean hotel. The breakfast is solid, with waffles, eggs, sausage, and all you need coffee!!There is outdoor seating with chairs and tables, along the road to hang out in when the weather is nice! You’re in a perfect location right off the bridge, to walk over to Cincinatti on the purple people bridge, and just a few blocks away from food and the downtown area along the river - Newport on the Levee! Not their fault, looks like it’s the new thing Hilton does, but they do charge $10 a day for parking parking even though it’s just a flat parking lot!Rooms: Nice and clean!Nearby activities: Restaurants, food, bars, purple people, walking bridge!Safety: Seems real safe to walk everywhere!Walkability: Close to everything!Food & drinks: Close to all food and drinks!Noteworthy details: Parking, yep they charge you $10 a day. Monies why, but Hilton charges this to your room.”

“Great place for events for companies!! Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms!Walkability: Nice walk around businesses nearby. It is in a hill, which is challenging.”

“The staff is exceptional here. A+ customer service. The M Club is terrible and the food is gross.

Noteworthy details: It's a quick walk across the bridge and you are in Cincinnati”

“This was our first visit to Cincinnati. This hotel helped make our stay a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location, parking garage right next door and their staff, particularly Kesha and Julie, who went above board to be especially helpful. If we visit Cincinnati again, we will be staying here.”

“The shower was amazing, the pillows and bed were super super comfortable, but the sink in our accessible room did not work :( Location was seconds off the interstate, and I would definitely stay here again.”

“Lovely hotel with dedicated and attentive staff. Special shout out to the Food & Beverage Director Rejfo who made sure that every one of our party felt welcome and taken care of!Food & drinks: Very nice food, and attentive staff made all the difference.”

“Overall a wonderful experience. We had a free night to use up so I won't be to critical but the room was very odd. Room 1420 in particular was very tiny and laid out in peculiar fashion unlike any other room I'd stayed at a Hyatt or other hotel for that matter, luckily we weren't there to be in our room long so other than that the staff and facilities were nice and our trip was good. Just don't get that room!”

“I am too late to post this review but its never too late for the excellent comments. we were around 70 people were here in this hotel in September 2023 and CIERRA BICKEL and her staff made our stay as good as possible. It was my son's wedding and we were coming out of town and was too scared how things will workout there. But because of CIERRA BICKEL it was as smooth as it can be . Every time i called her and explain her my concern she always said don't worry i am here and i will take care of everything and she did it. Not to mention she was 8 months pregnant. all our guests loved her and her staff. I have so much to say all good things about them. I felt it home there. i would love to stay there with an blink of my eye. All in all we all were 200% satisfied with their services and hospitality.”

“You cannot get into this building unless you are accompanied by someone with a Childrens Badge and employees are quite firm on this rule to the point of sometimea seeming distrustful. Once inside however, people are friendly enough and there is a small cafeteria where you can get a quick bite to eat or coffee, drinks, etc.”

“After reading some of these reviews I was a little nervous about staying here, but I had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, and breakfast was tasty. It's an older hotel so don't expect the Ritz but it was perfect for an easy one night stay. Thanks!!”

“I was placed next to a loud couple bumping the wall and talking loudly by my door. I complained to the front desk and they kindly changed my room. I got the chance to see 2 rooms during my stay. The rooms were clean for the most part. No roaches, no bed bugs or any bugs for that matter. A few burn holes in the bed topper and average furniture. Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. Coffee served all day and night. Only bad thing is the road noise from the highway and no microwave or fridge. I would stay again but it won't be my first choice.”

“My 1-month stay at the Hampton Inn was absolutely amazing! The comfy beds, the room space, and the temperature control system were ideal. A coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room added great value to it. The breakfasts were delicious and had everything I could have wished for, especially the berries. My room was cleaned every alternate-day and the floor supervisor, Lenise, made sure that it was done timely.I dint use the pool or the fitness center but they seemed okay. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping department made sure that my needs were met timely.I would like to make a special mention of the names: David, Carlton, Shelby and Lenise from the staff, these guys were awesome! I had a lot of conversations with them and they guided me really well.I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful n comfortable stay.Btw I dint get to know if I earned any Hilton Honors points for my month's stay, would appreciate if I get information on how I can? Thanks!Rooms: Very comfortable and clean beds and pillows. Clean towels n free toileteries. LCD tv with a lot of channels. Free wifi.Walkability: The walkways are wide enough not to cause any hindrance.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast with lots of items to choose from. Free water bottles, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. A suite shop for snacks.”

“Service and employees were great and very accommodating. Switched rooms because AC did not work, super easy to handle though no problems when telling them about the situation. Valet is rip off, public parking is across the street. No carts to load / unload luggage. Free breakfast is meh.”

“Hello this is home away from home!! This is a very clean, accommodating hotel. It smells fresh when you come in. It is very modern decor. I visited one in Green Bay,WI. I thought that it just was rare because it was the same as this one. So, this is my second stay at this chain. They are all the same!! The staff is amazing, prompt, friendly and informative. The place is impeccably clean great housekeeping team. They are managed well. When we came in we was greeted by the manager. The parking is always safe. The building is mod. A very cool place to be when away from home. There is a bar. My only suggestion would be to have a happy hour with live or really good music. A charcuterie board would be a great idea also! Get out of the pool come to happy hour with delectable snacks from the locals here goetta, meats, cheeses, pretzels. Cincinnati has a great German community that would cater to this for any hotel.”

“My experience at this hotel was great. I want to especially thank Selma from the house keeping department. I left something in my room and when I realized what I had left I called the hotel lost and found and spoke to Selma. The same day I called about the item I had left in the room she went personally to the room to find it and thank God it was there. Selma kept the item safe for me until she was able to ship it to me personally. I’m so grateful to her. This hotel has amazing staff!”

“The rooms were okay. Not the cleanest and the blankets and holes all over them from cigarette burns. No bugs in my room. It was okay for the night I stayed on my way to TN but it was probably over priced by like 50 bucks. I could see paying $30-40 a night but definitely not worth 80. I stay at a lot of Wyndham hotels and have stayed in numerous super 8s and this one is one of the reasons people think super 8s are gross. The guy the helped me book a room was great. He was professional and friendly.”

“Neighborhood was seedy but the motel was excellent! Staff were friendly. Room was immaculate and beds were very comfy. Left too early to partake of the free breakfast but the set-up was awesome! Will make sure to eat next time.Rooms: Room was surprisingly large and very clean.Noteworthy details: Room, bed and bathroom were absolutely immaculate. Bed was incredibly comfy and heaped up with soft covers. Pristine white sheets.”

“We had a great day other than the lobby and other parts of the building look like they was under remodeling. The website indicated that their swimming pool was open All year long but when we Arrived the pool looked like it hadn't been maintenance in years. We definitely got a great bill on the room. It was large spacious, had a kitchen area and a living room and a separate bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub.Nearby activities: Several hiking trails and other activities are within fifteen minutes.”
