My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights when we were in town for a Red's game. We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was super nice and personable. They were warm and welcoming. Our room was super clean. The attention and effort they put into cleaning the room was obvious. The location was perfect. We could drive to a gas station in less than a minute without getting back on the main roads. We walked 2 minutes to the movie theater next door. And I-275 is a quarter mile from the turnoff to the hotel. We were easily able to reach Florence, Newport and Covington in less than ten minutes. We felt safe in both the hotel and the parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no passing traffic. The breakfast is as nice as you will find anywhere. I will say the bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point had we been staying more than 2 nights we would've had to request a room change. Had the bed been more comfortable it would have been perfect.
Rooms: The room was extremely clean and well supplied. The rooms were also very spacious. The only issue we had was with the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. Had we been staying more than 2 nights we would have requested a room change..
Nearby activities: There is a very nice movie theater within a 2 minute walk. There are no attractions close by but we went to the Florence Mall, Covington and Newport on the Levee and they were all within 10 minutes due to I-275 being within 2 minutes of the hotel and easily accessible.
Safety: My wife and I felt safe the entire time, both in the hotel and parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no traffic passing thru on foot or by vehicle.
Walkability: There is a great movie theater within a 2 minute walk. Dairy Queen and Mellow Mushroom were close enough to walk. There were a few more restraunts and a gas station close by but they were far enough away up a steep incline that I wouldn't recommend walking.

Staff was nice. Hotel needs lots of renovations & more cleaning though...especially if you pay over $200 for one night. :(

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were awesome, and the price for the room are amazing. If I ever get back this way. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were beautiful and the showers were also great!! The service was amazing, they have a whole selection of snacks and freezer/ fridge food for reasonable prices. The breakfast was also fantastic, there were so many options to choose from like blueberry or regular waffles; with 3 different waffle makers. I would 100% stay here over and over again. The staff were all amazing, I will always look for Comfort Inn any time I want to take my kids out for vacation
Rooms: Awesome
Safety: Great
Food & drinks: Amazing breakfast

Stayed here while doin a job close by & it was very nice. The pool is great & nicer than the holiday inn's was. Everything is pricey but that's just how it is anymore. They have a Continental breakfast in the morning that is amazing & has really huge selection. It was really nice & we enjoyed it. It's close to the movie theatre & several fast food & sit down restaurants. We walked to Thortons & DQ, making it back to our room within less than 20-30mins & we weren't rushing just casually walking. There was microwave, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, & single cup coffee maker in the rooms plus they had shampoo, body wash, conditioner, & lotion also on every room. We were there bout the end of June & it still wasn't so crowded or full that we couldn't find a chance to go get in the pool & have the whole pool to ourselves. It was quiet & relaxing.
Safety: They have it all controlled by your room key so if you aren't staying there you can't get in to any door except the front lobby & you need your room key to get in the pool also. It wasnt inconvenient or anything bc we already had our key since we obviously left the room & needed it to get back in.
Walkability: It was off the main road & we were able to walk to the Thorton's & Dairy Queen nearby. It was nice casual walk & weather was great that night. There are a lot of other places nearby that could be walked to if someone wanted to. We were just tired from working all day so we got what we needed & some blizzards & went back to the hotel to relax.

I don’t know how this hotel is only 2 stars. I absolutely LOVED this hotel!! There is a Dairy Queen Grill and Chill, also a movie theater next door.

Had a long drive and needed a place to stay without breaking the bank. Good thing I chose Comfort Inn & Suites Northern Kentucky. Great communication over the phone with Clay and a sweet welcoming with Jaqueline who covered the overnight shift. Rooms suited our needs. We stayed in a double queen room which consisted a mini fridge, iron/board, microwave, and plenty of free parking. There was a complimentary breakfast that was ok and just happen to not serve any meats (maybe back ordered, not sure). Location is about 20 minutes from Cincinnati. Wouldn’t mind staying here to save money for future use if maybe catching a Reds game when Cincinnati rooms are high priced/in demand. Forgot to take pics of room but have some of the property.

Great for locations to see a lot of major items . While the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast nothing special. The staff is what made this hotel great very friendly and if they was a problem a we experienced they tried to address it right away. The rooms were a little older, a little defects such as a broke window latch etc . Overall this hotel was charming unqine and quiet ! The air was amazing

We are here now and we couldn’t be more displeased. Staff was rude. Called me a liar and laughed at me. Am contacting Choice Hotels. Staff person said he didn’t care. This has turned us off of any choice hotel in the future

Watch out for this place. I extended my four-day stay for one more night. I did this halfway through my stay. The person at the front desk said he could give me a good rate, then he checked, and then he did give me a good rate (Sunday nights are the cheapest).
But then when I checked out, my rate had been jacked up by $40. I asked them to fix it and the front desk lady was VERY unhelpful, and VERY hostile about it. Kept interrupting me, taking the hard line, trying to explain why adding $40 to the quoted rate is perfectly fine.
I told her, since she "couldn't do anything about it," to talk to her manager for permission to fix the problem. She did, and the manager fixed it. So they get 2 stars instead of 1.
Also, front desk lady moved her hair to her left side while we were talking, so it would hang down and cover her nametag. So I don't know her name. But I imaging the manager can figure it out from this review.

For a "2-star" hotel (according to Google) this is a decent place and a good value. It's generally clean and functional which is always a gamble with low and mid-range Choice Hotels.
I give 4 stars because my first room (309) reeked of cigarette smoke but my next room (307) was great - had no smell and it was cleaner. Had no issues asking for another room but the front desk attendant disappeared for a bit after I informed him of the issue and then came back and took a long time to finish what he was doing to get me a new room while I just stood there awkwardly for the better part of 10 minutes. It appeared he was writing/filing a report or something about the issue but maybe he was just in the middle of something else, I don't know. He could have been a little more communicative.
The hotel is modern but showing signs of wear and tear - chips in the paint on the walls as well as gashes, scrapes, scuff marks, and scratches in the rooms, hallways, elevator, stairwells. Not terrible overall but definitely abused. There is only one elevator 3/4 of the way down the hall on one side of the building which is inconvenient when your room is at the other end of the hall. The 3rd floor stairs only go down to the ground and the other stairwell only goes between the 1st and 2nd floors which I found out the hard way after trying to walk up to the 3rd floor.
Still this hotel has a lot going for it: 15-17 minutes from the airport - just far enough to still be close but out of the way of the congestion and noise of the airport area, 10 or less from most other places you need to be, and its immediate surroundings can't be beat - a great pizza joint, a Dairy Queen, a decent pub and a movie theater all within walking distance and 2 big gas stations at the top of the hill. The free breakfast was also really good as far as hotel breakfasts go plus they have waffle maker.
Good enough for me to stay again.
Walkability: Dairy Queen, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, movie theater, good pub, 2 gas stations - all within walking distance.

Rooms: They were clean with a microwave and refrigerator.
