What's not to love about this very cute and very small post office in the river town of Wikliffe. We're at what was once the center of the trading world, where the Ohio River met the Mississippi River. And I can safely say that it ain't what it used to be.
That said, this post office has what you need. Stamps, post office boxes and yes, a mailbox out front where I was able to drop off a post card to remember my time passing through Kentucky on the way to Missouri.
There isn't a drop off lane. I had to park and then walk up to the mailbox.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended for all your shipping and mailing needs. A small postal facility but this gives you more personalized, efficient, and reliable service. Give them a try.

They are always so nice and polite. Explains things and helps in anyway they can! I am a frequent flyer when it comes to mailing or sending items, and they are my favorite people to deal with!

The postmaster in Wickliffe, KY is a bully. He has told new renters across the street from my home that they can place their mailbox on my private property. When we requested they move it, he told us it was state right of way. After contacting the Wickliffe city, Ballard county and Kentucky state officials and taking the written proof that it is indeed our private property and requesting it be moved, he threw my husband out of the post office without reviewing the information, ran out after him in a physically threatening manor and threatened him with retaliation by moving our mailbox off our property to the bottom of the street. I’m not a lawyer, but that seems like it may be illegal behavior and most definitely is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
