I went inside to use the FedEx drop off shipping service they offer and I had never done this before and was met with rudeness and laugher from the middle aged dirty blonde women started with her coming out of nowhere, it's gotta be packed up and the label taped on it, and it must fit on the shelf and that won't fix. When I was already had help from another employee. The item I had I admit was already shipped to my house poorly and I didn't see a reason to change the original packaging. Then when I asked kindly for a simple piece of tape she scoffed and said ummm we sell tape but I'm not giving you tape, I mean for the amount I needed that was just an uncalled for response didn't know tape was in short supply to warrant rudness. So as I go to find and buy tape for my stuff she runs to every staff member around the store and talked openly about how it was ridiculous that I bought my package in claiming it to have been shipped to my house in that way and I asked for tape, I was an row away from them. she's unprofessional and buy the time I had then bought the cheapest tape which I needed two 4 inch pieces she was back at the fromt yet again talking about how they weren't going to take it and were complaining about how annoying and useless that service was "taking fedex packages" and how I made it worse asking for tape. Just thought it was funny, I'm guess I was getting in the way of her taking off early that day or simply because I asked for tape but that women is simply unprofessional. Sorry if you don't enjoy your place at dollar general but that doesn't mean be rude,

I Really like shopping Dollar General but I came to this location about 9pm, the whole time I was shopping and it was my family and one gentleman in the store. It was like every 10 mins the 2 employees kept telling us they close at 10pm which I was aware of. I was shopping for dog food, laundry detergent, toilet paper and dog treats. So not a long list of things to get.. As I'm approaching the counter a lady says Mam we're closing you have to check out now so I said ok, she pointed me to the self checkout, I rang up my things and noticed it was a "card only" checkout...so I looked around and nobody so I walked around looking for someone all the while thinking wow can't believe I was in her an hour...So the same lady appears and says I told you were closed. So I said I know but the checkout is card only I have cash..She says well then we have to rescan everything at another register so I said ok...So a gentleman opens another register and I take everything outta the bags as he scans them she's standing behind me so as he bags I put them back in my cart then she picks up a bag he's scanned and says he missed one I reply no he got it and he says no he didn't!! I said well I'm not paying twice for it so she goes behind the register and looks up each item.. Obviously she was wrong and she gives me the bags and I just left...I get in my car look at the time and it's only 945....I was kinda shocked like wow....Then my son tells me the lady was standing behind me staring into my open purse the whole time!!! So I think they for some strange reason thought I had stolen something idk I did buy some glade wax melts and glade two pk candles...so idk maybe she assumed since it was late and I was down the candle isle I was stealing??? Idk even that doesn't justify her behavior cuz she was rude when I walked in the door....And I really like this DG cuz of the selection of things they carry like home decor, makeup and clothing...This experience jus put a bad taste in my mouth.....??

Excellent service available at this location. FedEx OnSite at Dollar General in Walton is your OneStop Service Center for all your FedEx shipping needs. Highly recommended. Definitely a repeat. Handicap Accessible and Parking. Easily seen from road. Why go any place else.
