Took a vehicle from Florence in for a pre-purchase inspection and these guys were absolutely amazing! I live north of UC and now I’m afraid to shop for cars too far north because I don’t know if I’d trust anyone else as much lol
They were super honest, walked me under the vehicle to show me the issues, gave me a full detailed estimate to provide the dealership - and didn’t even charge me. Their advice and shared knowledge was absolutely priceless and I will ALWAYS highly value these kind of men in this industry. Added Bonus points for these guys who didn’t assume I don’t know squat about cars because I’m a woman lol
Edit: Denzel (? So sorry I forgot their names!) STAYED LATE. On a Saturday…to do this for me. Priceless humans I tell ya.

Brought in my truck to have tires installed that I had ordered online. After receiving the phone call that it was done I was informed that 2 studs were broken when attempting to reinstall the wheels. After some research I found that to replace the studs, the rear axle had to be pulled to get the studs in. Potentially costing $800. When I arrived, AAA was nice enough to comp the cost of installing the tires but now I’m looking at a much higher bill as they would charge me to replace the studs that they had broken re installing the wheels. Will be seeking further repairs from other business that stand my their mistakes in the future.

I can’t remember a time when I had maintence done and smiled. James is a delight: humorous, relatable, kind, and trustworthy. He didn’t upsell me items I didn’t need and communicated EXACTLY how long it would take (I walked in at the prescribed :45 expecting to wait, and the tech pulled up my van).

Had a great experience at my local Bob Sumerel AAA Tire shop. The team was super friendly, got me in and out quickly, and the pricing was fair. You can tell these are rock-solid people who genuinely care about their customers and do good in the community. Definitely a shop you can trust.

James and the team at AAA Walton would get more than 5 stars if possible! On a trip to a baseball game our tire started losing air on i75. We got lucky that we found a tire shop right off the next exit, however, they couldn’t get us in but then right up from them we saw this AAA car care center and decided to pop in since we ar AAA members. They got us right in and by the time the kids used their clean restrooms, got a cold water, and shared with the staff about their trip - our tire was fixed and we were on our way! A great stop that could have been a stressful situation but turned out to be a blessing to our day! Thanks AAA Walton!

Not one who usually leaves reviews but it seems that the northern ky locations need to take a business ethics class. Received a call an hour into my alignment and balancing to which i was told there was a nail in my sidewall which was non repairable. I wasn't too far away so I decided to see for myself if it was repairable. They proceeded to show my a piece of metal that was wedged in between the tread of the tire. The mechanic tried to tell me that it wasn’t repairable then proceeded to see if the piece of metal actually punctured through the tire that would warrant a repair. It didn't puncture through so no repair was needed. The issue here is that this is not the only bob sumerel I’ve been to and had these same issues with trying to drum up fictitious repairs. Im going to write to corporate and see where that gets me so we’ll see. I won’t be going back and advise others to do the same until they can fix the ethics issue within their company.

Convenient, fast and friendly service with experienced technicians that are detail oriented. I was a walk in appointment and the general Manager James and his team did an excellent job making me feel confident in their abilities. The place is clean , nice waiting room with coffee and I can even take care of shopping and other errands close by. Look forward to bringing all our vehicles here.

Scheduled an alignment for my Dooley truck got there. They got it on the rack. Told me I needed to replace the ball joints took it replace the ball joints then scheduled another appointment for 1 o’clock a week later got there 15 minutes early was told to come back in an hour and a half so I did and when I came back, they got it on the rack then told me they couldn’t do it that my truck was too big. Complete waste of time.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but felt compelled to do so to keep another individual from getting scammed, especially if they don’t know better or don’t go get a 2nd opinion.
Took my truck to get diagnostic testing for shaking in my Silverado. They quoted me roughly 4,500 with a laundry list such as ball joints, suspension, control arms, tires, alignment, etc.
I took that quote and diagnostic to a private mechanic. He took a look and said he could not find a single thing wrong with ball joints, suspension, etc.
He found the problem - once on the lift, the rear back tire was going around like an egg causing my shaking when driving. The solution is new tires and alignment. He was shocked at the price quoted. He did not even charge me and said he gets lots of business from this specific location and quotes/diagnostic never match.
Always get a 2nd opinion!!!!

After going to Bob Sumeral for years between Florence location and now Walton location, this was a bad experience. List of items fixed were, both front CV Axle shafts, rear brake pads, rear rotors and rear passenger side caliper. The cost or speed was not the issue, the repairs were done on a Friday and pretty fast. There was issue with the brake line that rubbed against the tire and wore a hole in it that occurred Sunday while driving to the grocery store. So had to take the car back on Monday and take off work but issue was fixed.

Grateful to find this tire shop, our tire pressure was low and went to Discount Tire but they told us to come back tomorrow. After finding Kroger had an air compressor we noticed AAA tire as we found a screw in the tire. AAA staff was friendly and got us in right away and repaired the tire on the spot. We will definitely be back when it’s time to get new tires. Thanks AAA!
