Walked in this afternoon to an empty store and all the employees sitting around talking. Cool. A lady came to check me in, and while I was about to ask her if they could cut layers into my 16 year olds human sew-in weave, the lady interrupted me, asking for my phone number. Cool again. She told us to come to her chair and I explained again, it was a sew in, human hair and we wanted long layers. Another lady said it was against great clips policy to cut hair that’s not human. I said it is human hair and I’ve had my weaves cut here multiple times. ( As a matter of fact, the lady who cut my weave last was there. I looked at her, hoping she would speak up but she didn’t and I didn’t want to get her in trouble). The employees seemed like we interrupted them or maybe they just didn’t like us. Either way.

Checked in online prior to getting to the salon and waited 30 minutes before being notified to walk in. Once checked in I waited another 15 minutes before I was next in line. The older male barber took my name out of the system as to call my name to be next but instead goes to his booth and cleans it. Once done cleaning he returns to the computer and selected another person in line as did the older female stylist. This is a common thing out of this store and it continues to get worse every visit. Not to mention my hair continues to be cut uneven to the point I have to have my wife fix it once I get home.

Russell Richardson at the Versailles bluegrass commons shop just finished cutting my 81 year old hair. He was pleasant and professional. He used scissors and cut it like I asked.

Excellent, and no touch up at home necessary. I am a regular so Terri cuts my hair exactly as I want it without any Instructions. With all the clients they see, that is amazing.

While the quality of my daughter’s haircut was good, the unpleasant younger man who cut her hair made the experience poor. My daughter left crying. If we return we will be requesting the other young woman who was present and also cutting a child’s hair. She was kind and exchanging. Their visit was obviously much better.
