Still riding with LEC. At 67 years old, I am safe with certified instructors and incredible lesson horses. As an important update, as of June 2024, LEC now has a second location at Rock Creek Riding Club in Seneca Park.

Caring, professional staff: Betsy, Anna & Meg! If you want to learn to ride Saddle Seat (english-type saddles) the Louisville Equestrian Center is the best. From tiny 4-year-olds to 94-year-olds, you will have a great time!

I learned how to ride here and highly recommend. They go at your pace when teaching, especially if you're a nervous first-time rider.

All we want to do is book a lesson but so far neither phone number works and they have the worst website I've ever dealt with

Awesome place for riding lessons. My daughter is new to riding and they have great instruction with many different horses to ride. Different horses have different personalities and this helps riders learn more about riding.

Rude employees, and the place has a HUGE thirst for slavery. They were hiring 9-13 year olds as CITs in the HOT heat for more work hours then 16 year olds with NO PAY. You might think "Oh, it's just volunteering!" Yeah right. One of the only employees named Meg talked about my daughter behind her back and WE CAUGHT HER. Wow. How the heck are you getting away with this?

My daughter had an amazing riding experience at LEC. She had wanted to ride for years but this was her 1st time. Very patient instructor. Clean. Amazing day. We will continue lessons. Highly recommend

This place has wonderful and patient instructors. My daughter had little interest in riding the horses as she is a bit young but the instructors for her used to being around them. She was able to feed the horses and visit their stables inside and outside and watch other children. She enjoyed her time there over the course of a few, reasonably priced lessons. My only complaint is the name is a bit misleading, it is not close to Louisville. Having recently moved down from Chicago that one got me as it was about a 45 minute drive or so, I probably should have looked up the address before signing up though.

A wonderful place for all levels and ages of riders. From tiny tots to equitation champions, to moms reconnecting with the American Saddlebred, this is the place to go... Great knowledge and great horses.
