“We were touching up paint around our house and I brought in a bunch of old paint cans from the last owner, which had been in the crawlspace under the house for more than 4yrs. David was able to tell me which ones were still good, which ones had gone bad, and matched the paint color for the bad cans. On a casual walk through, the paint matches so well that I would not be able to tell that it was retouched. Great experience!”

“I needed two colors matched for projects I was working on at our home. I had gone to Lowe's and had very disappointing results with multiple return visits and long waits. I felt very unsafe in the crowded store with so many people without a mask. Porter Paints had protocol established that kept both the employee and myself safe from transmitting the virus, they were very professional and prompt, and the colors matched perfectly on the first try. The personal care extended to free stir sticks and can openers in the box which the employee carried out to my car. While I was concerned that the price of Porter Paint gallons would be higher, I found my bill just slightly over what I paid at Lowe's, and the lack of aggravation, time, and repeat visits sealed the deal. I will be getting all of my paint at Porter's from now on.”

“Sherry is AMAZING. I had my toddler in the store with me. Sherry got slammed shortly after we arrived and other customers were helped in front of us, but it worked out well. Naturally my toddler got restless and commenced running in circles around the store. Sherry didn't bat an eye! Once she was able to help us, she was patient and understanding and moved as quickly and she could to help us with our needs. She even helped me to the car with all the paints we'd brought in for freshness/usability checks. The following day when we picked up our order, she helped load the paint purchases into the vehicle while I loaded the toddler into the car. What service!! I highly recommend this store! I can't tout Sherry enough! She is a rock star. She even loaded my paint cans into the boxes so it's easy to discern which colors were in which boxes. 10 out of 10 recommend this store!”

“A good place to purchase propane for your grill. They also sell grills if you need one. Considered taking a star off because you have to pay for a full tank regardless of any propane left in your tank. But the service is so good. Five stars.”

“Needed some custom mixed rattle cans after underestimating how much my little project would require. I was in a pinch because I needed to spray more color and had to contend with a max 12 hour recoat window. I could not wait a week for delivery from the online seller i used for the first can. The guys were very accommodating to a mostly clueless DIYer like me. Did not try to upsell the super expensive paint brand stating it wasn't needed for a rattle can project. Prices were better than online sellers. Project turned out great. Bumper fillers on a 1987 Buick Regal.”

“I just like to take the time to appreciate good customer service when it happens because it is so few and far in between when it happens. I went into PPG on Preston Hwy Saturday to repurchase a deck paint I already had. The representative (Jennifer) was very sweet and attentive. She made the experience very nice. Although I almost contemplated purchasing the paint I needed from Lowes i would def go back to PPG because never have i once ever been greeted AND assisted that pleasantly at Lowes.”
“I’ve painted a lot. Not professional, just for personal reasons over the years. For my money there is no comparison to the end result and painting experience you get from Sherwin-Williams paints. I love the Cashmere. It costs a little more than what you get from the big box store but if you try it you won’t go back.”

“Prospect Brownsboro Hardware....Big shout out to Alex. He was a life saver today. I had a new refrigerator installed yesterday and unbeknownst to me the water line connected to the old copper line had been leaking for 22 hours. It wasn't leaking in the kitchen, it had been leaking through the floor behind the fridge through the ceiling into the finished basement. When I went down to start the laundry today the water was running through the ceiling and lights and the carpet was soaked. I immediately shut the water off at the main, pulled the fridge out and found the source. Being a Sunday and knowing nothing about plumbing I took pictures of the problem and went straight to the Prospect store. Alex not only got me the fittings I needed he took me to a work station and literally gave me a plumbing 101 course! Seriously, he even cut off a small piece of plastic water line and walked me through exactly what I needed to do when I got home. I'm so grateful he went out of his way to help me. And, very happy to report it worked! I fixed it thanks to Alex!!”
