The Frontgate Outlet is feast or famine. Last time I was there they didn't have anything I would have taken if they offered it to me 50% off. However, the next time I go I may come out with a haul. It's hit or miss. This last trip was definitely a miss.

I went here - no. rushed here - to beat the 6pm closing time. Really excited. I have to say, "disappointed" is a word too weak. From a marketing standpoint, they'd be wise to make a separate area for badly damaged items. Examine everything carefully before you buy. Many items aren't salvageable.

LOVE this spot! Not only is the selection of items amazing (and always changing), but the staff is also fantastic. A special thanks to Barb who helped me find replacements for a broken serving piece. Can't wait until we are back to town with the box truck!

This is a Ballard Designs outlet- shoppers can score great furniture/decor at a great discount! While shopping, I found a rug for my son's nursery at 80% off the listed price. I would advise shoppers to thoroughly inspect the furniture before purchasing, as some of the items are damaged. Staff are friendly and helpful!

I ran into this store by accident and after visiting, here's what I understand. Ballard Designs is a company owned by Williams Sonoma, and has a similar feel to it as Pottery Barn. This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.

So disappointing due to the fact that their flyer that was sent out said there was a LaborDay Sale today through September 9th for 50% off entire purchase. This did not happen as clerks said the flyer was not true.I called their Corporate office as well as Manager at Shelbyville Rd. I consider that this constitutes false advertising and customers should call and complain to Better Business Bureau.

I love this store!!! I have been searching for over 3 months for navy leather dining chairs and they carry them for a fraction of what others sell them for. This is quality furniture.
