“I’ve been shopping here for about 20 years now and I love this store. From the staff in every department that are so friendly and helpful to the great selection of products. I’m not a wealthy person and some of the items are very upscale, but I don’t mind paying. The old saying, “you get what you pay for “, fits perfectly here. From the person playing the piano at the store to the free gift wrap all year round, to the interest free store credit card and free shipping. If there’s ever a problem with a purchase, they will go overboard to make it right.The moment you enter Von Maur, it feels like an experience rather than just a trip shopping. The store is always beautifully decorated.I shop here at least one to two times a week, and in my opinion we are lucky to have them here in Louisville, Kentucky and I hope that they stay here for many years to come.”

“T J Max on Outer Loop has a lot of stuff for a cheaper price. It has men and women cloths including Big and Tall. Kids cloths and toys are in the front of the store. Behind those are the home goods from furniture, couch pillows and other home stuff . Also a section for gourmet food like candy, cookies and more.The store is big and packed with shoppers on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long but moved quickly with five cashiers working.It was a positive experience and will come back.”

“Big Lots, for me, has always been just to the side of budget retail, kind of on the periphery. In my experience in the past it felt more like a closeout shop, not entirely unlike the Land of Misfit Toys, where things that weren't wanted by someone else ended up. For years I found their stock unreliable and of varying quality, so it would generally be the last place I'd go when looking for something. But that was then. I don't know what kind of magic has happened in the last 10 to 15 years, but Big Lots has improved *ahem* lots! Stores are cleaner than I remember, stocks are shelved.....strike that...reverse it....moving on. Merchandise quality seems to have improved. What brought me to this location was my combination Birthday/Christmas gift from my wife (I have a December birthday). I've got a recliner that we call my "Dad Chair" that is at least 15 years old, probably closer to 20. It's tired and she said "we need to replace the Dad Chair". Wifey is great at research and we visited a couple other furniture outlets before we got to Big Lots. Nothing really worked for me at the other places, then we went to Big Lots. I was impressed with the furniture selection at this location. I was not expecting thar much variety. I tried out every single recliner in the place and settled on one pretty quickly. Britt helped us through the sale process, which was amazingly easy. Then she told us where to meet her around the side of the building to get the chair, which was still in the box. By the time we drove around back she was waiting there with the chair. Since the box was, like, enormous, we had to take it out of the box to put it in my car. Britt helped with that, too, unboxing that chair like a champ and even assisted getting it into the car. I was 100% impressed with this Big Lots experience and with Britt, who was very personable and very funny.”
“An employee by the name of Irina is why we need to keep stores like dillards alive.I was traveling to Clarksville for a wedding and of course forgot my dress. Irina in the dress department pulled the best dresses for me to try on. She definitely understood my frame and had me try on the most flattering dresses. I definitely enjoyed my experience.”

“Me and my husband went to Kohl's in New Albany looking for some home decor. I have the app downloaded on my phone and always get emails about coupons. So our intention was to use the 25% off coupon. While we were looking around we saw a sign for 20% off. We were trying to figure if the coupon was right or not. We asked an associate and she went to check it out for us. Anyhow the coupon was supposed to be taken down but someone forgot it. A very nice team member came back to assist us and honored the coupon that wasn't taken down plus let us use it with another coupon. Her name was Christina. Just wanted to recognize her for all she did to help us out.”
“Lulu is amazing! And Karen is a great hype lady for the team! I had no clue what I wanted and I know I looked lost since I don’t shop at Dillard’s so I am very unfamiliar with the format and store lay out. Lulu was the first person to ask me if I needed help and she never left my side. She never judged me. (I know I came in looking rough) She made sure I got what I can for and more. She is very positive, encouraging, and HONEST. She won’t let you get something if you don’t feel good in it nor if it isn’t the best option for you. ?”

“This place is amazing. Quality pieces for every room in your home. The prices here are wonderful! Whether it's bedding for my husband and I or our son's bedding we'll find it here. If I need some cozy pillows or throws, they've got us covered. This store has a huge selection of artwork, baby clothing, bouncers, toys and etc. They have sporting goods, garden hoses and flower pots. You can find designer handbags and wallets. I can't say enough about the deals and quality items that are made to last!”

“Great place to just look around from furniture, to clothes, to food, to pet supplies, etc. However, if you see something you like it's best to get it since stock varies, with no guarantee that they'll have it again. The prices are competitive to really good bargains. I've found the employees to be helpful and friendly, so no complaints there. I really enjoy browsing, so a fun place for me since there are always new bargains. My only complaint is that there are only a few stores and they are a treck from my home. Before they closed the one near my home Biglots was always my first look place to check prices, especially for small home appliences.”

Staff and management are amazing! I don't leave without spending at least $300 or more. I have a a whole house I'm redecorating... and well clothes you know They have a lot of departments that be having stuff you wouldn't expect and always will find something even if you weren't looking for it but you have needed it.
