Horrible service all around; bad prices and other phone companies will decline you service even if you're a existing customer (Verizon done my friend this way). So they have a monopoly on the area and control the prices. I literally use my cellphone 2-3 times a day at the most with a combine estimated total of 20 minutes a day tops on my phone. My cellphone bill is ~+100.00 a month. It's not worth it, but just in case of emergencies I have to keep it.

The only place you can go to get cell service if you live in Martin co. And they know that so they have pretty high prices. :(

Was a loyal customer for over 8 years until my wife bought a iPhone x that started messing up a couple of months after receiving it. Appalachian wireless told us that Apple had to repair it. We sent it to apple, and they informed us that they couldn't repair the phone because it was refurbished (keep in mind the phone was put in a protective case the moment it was bought, and was never taken out of the case). We took it back to Appalachian wireless and they would do nothing. In fact, the clerk wouldn't stop eating her food at the counter to talk to us. I had no choice but leave Appalachian. Now, they're expecting us to pay a termination fee on a REFURBISHED phone that doesn't work! I have no problem taking care of the other fees, but Appalachian has lost their mind if I'm going to take care of that iPhone.
