“Great prices! For out of towners.. selections are a tad smaller but a great variety! Great single serving snacks and meals. Salad bowls are great for picnics.

“This place is referred to locally as Secret Taco. On Google Maps it shows up as a store, but there's a little cantina tucked away in the back where somebody's adorable abuela churns out the best dang authentic tacos in Somerset. Fantastic little lunch spot. Highly recommend.”
“Tried to check out the comic store here a couple of times, but its always closed. I did grab some baklava at the corner bakery, and it was fabulous. There's a Mexican restaurant at the opposite end facing hwy 27 I tried for lunch. We sampled the chorizo,pork,chicken and steak soft tacos. They tasted great but the meat was all ground and the texture made them all taste too close to the same. The salsa was great, and the house soup was to die for. I'd go back for the salsa,especially. The kitchen crew could not have been nicer people who were very welcoming.”
“Just so it's known, the only reason I gave Save-A-Lot 3 stars is because an ex-employee said he was let go because he clocked in late from a lunch break. “Had. Great experience called up there and spoke to someone in the deli. Asked if they had any chicken wings made and they said they were out. Then she went and looked and found a bag in the freezer and said if you give me 35 minutes she would make me 3 batches. It’s hard to find that good of service now days. She could have just said no but she didn’t.”
“I was thinking this was a bulk foods market and deli. Upon arrival, it was lowly stocked with snack items (chips, soda, some bread, etc.). The ladies behind the counter were exceptionally nice and the sandwich was adequate.”
“Don't visit as much As I used to since it switched owners and I no longer live close by, but it's always clean and the food is okay.. Knock off a star because I don't like the food that much.”
“We drove down from Michigan yesterday, and this is what we chose for dinner. Quaint little place, close to the hotel. They were very slow, being late on a Sunday night. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The waitress was amazing. The food was excellent. Pricing was very good too! I would definitely recommend this place, and if we were staying in the area, I'd be back for a meal.”

There was a young lady working tonight (God help me I cannot remember her name)March 3 2024, who was kind and courteous and genuine. She needs to be put in a management position post haste. She was the best. Thank you for your time.”
“I love this store. It's location Hwy 1247 is great,2min from my house. I go there every other day. If possible they will order what you need if there out of it. We buy out there orange cream twizzlers daily,we love them this is only dollar store that carries these. I buy all my household products here too! I buy clothes n medicine here also. I use to shop walmart,but I only shop dollar general Now! On Hwy 1247!! The cashiers are very friendly n helpful,they know me by name too! This is a great store n location is great!! We were gathering some last minute things for our 3-year-old grandson's birthday party.
The manager Tim, the assistant manager Tammy and Martha, the sales associate were so helpful!
They went above and beyond to assist us in finding everything that we needed.
I've been in this store several times on visits to Somerset and was very impressed with the cleanliness and the organization that we experienced this past visit.

“It has been years since I have gone to a Krogers because there was not one in my previous location and the visit today did not disappoint. I found the staff to be warm and welcoming and I really appreciated having someone to not only scan my groceries but bag them and offer to help me to the car as well. I found the aisles to be handicapped accessible and they have several battery operated scooters available. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were not only lower than several competitors but they still give fuel points with points given toward a fuel discount. Lastly the bathroom was tidy. I've been searching for an alternative to the big W and today I rediscovered my appreciation of good customer service and decent pricing. 4/5 given for a long wait at the deli. I'll be back!!!”

“No problem finding what I needed, I used the self checkout.
Unfortunately when I got to my car, I couldn't lift the bag of dog food from the cart.
I asked a young man if he would help me, and without hesitation, he lifted the bag into the car.
