Checking in wasn’t the easiest thing, but overall good experience. Nice staff, clean campground, and you really can’t beat the price… especially for the area.

Good people to deal with. It's a little tricky for large rigs to gen in and out of (but they fit) and you have to be careful exiting. Great price for a full hookup.

Did not stay here. Road to camping spots was too steep and too rough to get our 34 foot motor home down.

The grass had not been cut and was very long. No showers or restrooms at the campsite. The coffee shop was nice, and the staff was friendly. Prices were not listed on the menu, and they were a little pricey for a small coffee shop.Restrooms: They do not have any at the campground, yes, you can walk up the hill and then up the steep steps to the coffee house. (During business hours)

Clean and beautiful. Bathroom and restaurant access are super handy. Can't beat the price. I'll definitely be back!

Campground is clean and well kept, however when it rains it floods the campsites as there is nowhere for the water to go.

At $3/person for camping you get what you pay for.1. Half the sites with electric didn't work. We had to take our extension cord to 3 different sites before finding one that worked. We usually don't get electric sites, but since it was below freezing we needed electric for our heated blanket. I know you can't expect to much for $3/person but if it says electric, it's not unreasonably to have expectations that it works.2. No bathrooms in the campground. You have to walk uphill to the coffee shop to use one of their 2 bathrooms that is shared between the campground, coffee and gift shop. I didn't see any Porta potties, however that's maybe because it's off season, or I simply didn't see them.3. It appears there are several people living there full time, in Rvs, and tiny homes. Although this isn't a negative thing it creates a different atmosphere. This is not the worst campground, we never felt unsafe, but I would go elsewhere unless your on a budget.

The coffee shop camp definitely met our needs for our short trip to Red River Gorge. We went on a weekend and our neighbors were respectful enough. The "highway" is close so there will be noise but you get used to it. Lots of nice sites to choose from first come first serve.

I didnt know what to expect here, as you purchase your stay at the coffee house. But we ended up pretty darn happy. Got a great spot by the river with fire pit and picnic table. Level ground. While the portapotties were pretty ripe, the bathrooms at the coffee house were immaculate and for campground use (and we got our steps in getting up there!). I wouldn't recommend this place if you have limited mobility and need to use the bathroom frequently! But it sure worked for us. So much so we grabbed a second night. Excellent location, close to everything we wanted to be near. The staff at both the coffee house and that look over the campground were fantastic, and the other campers were awesome too. We will be back!

We stayed here for a long weekend and had a good time. Great location! But be careful driving in, there is a steep and windy hill down that is pretty sketchy pulling a camper. Other than that we loved being able to walk up to the coffee shop and enjoyed hanging out by the river!
