TLDR: Poor quality prescription sunglasses, even worse customer service.Bought a pair of prescription sunglasses since $200 seemed like a good value. After a couple months the frame cracked so I sent them back to be replaced. A couple months later, the replacement frames cracked again. At this point, it was evident something was defective as frames just don't crack. None of my non-prescription shady rays cracked like that, so it was obvious that the frames couldn't handle the additional weight of prescription lenses (my prescription is -1.50/-2.00, so it's not as if it's a really thick prescription). I asked if I could have a refund at this point instead of a replacement - I was told I was past the refund window (30 days I believe) but they offered to replace my glasses (again). I did this two more times for the hell of it, and after they cracked for the fourth time, I called up customer service instead of emailing and asked for a refund. I was told they couldn't give a refund immediately, I would have to send the glasses back (again) because they had a new lab and would need to examine the glasses. After I sent them back, it was hilariously explained to me like I was a 3rd grader that they "discovered" the issue. It was the additional pressure of the lenses was causing the frame to crack. *insert shocked Pikachu face* They then had the audacity to give me the choice again of replacing glasses or a refund. I opted for the refund.I got the refund notification and it was credited to a card that I had since cancelled (I had purchased these glasses in June/July of 2022). When I alerted them to this and asked if they could credit it back to a different card I was told it wasn't possible and that Chase would either credit one of my other cards, or cut me a check. I waited a few weeks then contacted Chase - I was told that since the card was cancelled all info was purged and that the money would be returned to Shady Rays in 30 business days. I contacted Shady Rays about a month after the refund was originally processed and was told they received the money back from Chase and to provide my PayPal account and they could send me the money that way. Funny how that couldn't have been done in the first place when I notified customer service that my card was cancelled. What a joke of a business. For the record, I bought $400 Oakley prescription glasses that *surprise* haven't cracked under the weight of its own lenses! FTP.

I’m done trying Shady rays… Pair after pair after pair break. Not worth the energy.

I paid for polycarbonate lenses in a pair of prescription sunglasses, then had CR39 sunglasses delivered to me. My regular glasses, which are polycarbonate, are 8mm thinner. To top it off when I confronted their customer service about the issue the representative told me they were polycarbonate. Absolutely insulting. Save yourself the time and buy from a reputable brand.

It said it was delivered by DHL. Never again I will not do business with ShadyRays nor DHL. If I had know that was one of their courier services was I wouldn't have ordered them in the first place. DHL has stolen many of my packages in the past. Huge inconvenience.

Aviators seemed a bit large for woman’s face but tried them out anyway. After a month, they were stretched out and falling off my face. Guess what? Too late to return. . Don’t buy, no better than cheap $10 sunglasses. Waste of money.

Best sunglasses I’ve bought so far! I have a pair in every vehicle, and actively looking for an excuse to buy even more. Lovely company, all around.

Good product but the lenses scratch super easily and somehow they have ZERO options for aviators with brown lenses…. Make it make sense.

Nice polarized glasses for the price. I can see paying a little more for the replacement option they offer.

They lure you in with replacement guarantee then when you think you're getting a free replacement, you get a $10 'processing' fee. Dont buy their products, they arent up-front and honest about what you're really getting. And when they charge as much as they do for plastic sunglasses.... you'll want the replacement deal you thought you had

Best sunglasses I've ever had and their customer service is amazing. I really like supporting companies with policies and responsiveness like theirs.I've had several pairs of their sunglasses for years and just got some of their blue light screening pairs, I'm looking forward to testing those out!
