Dear Hampton Inn Management,
I am writing to provide feedback and seek a resolution regarding my recent stay at your hotel.
I booked a two-night stay on 6/6/2024, the same day I was scheduled to check in. Unfortunately, due to a missed flight, I was unable to arrive that night. I promptly called the hotel to inform the staff of my situation and to notify them that I would not be able to check in that evening. I was informed that the hotel's policy requires any cancellation to be made 24 hours before check-in, which is impractical when booking on the same day.
The staff member I spoke with assured me that the General Manager would contact me the next morning. Unfortunately, I did not receive any call. I checked in the following day and stayed for one night. At check-out, the General Manager was not available, and I was advised to call on Monday. I called on Monday as instructed, but the General Manager was unavailable, so I left my contact information and a request for a refund for the missed night. Regrettably, I never received a call back.
I also reached out to Hilton Corporate and filed a complaint. However, my request for a refund was declined by the General Manager, citing the 24-hour cancellation policy.
While I understand policies are in place for a reason, I believe that exceptional circumstances, such as same-day bookings, should be considered. The amount of $107 plus tax and fees might be minor, but it reflects on the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I have decided not to stay at a Hilton property again.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, and I look forward to a resolution.

This was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Front desk staff was welcoming and kind. The hotel was quiet and comfortable!

I will write up a full review and better this depending on IF the supervisor Jenny gets back to me about our terrible experiance at this hotel. At first glance its amazing. But make sure you are expecting EVERYTHING. Update: The manager responded in a timely manner and made our inconvenience right. I appreciate her professionalism and response time.

My wife and I stayed here in May 2024 for 2 nights using points to pay for the stay while we visited La Grange, KY. We stayed in room 416. Full disclosure, we have been Choice Hotel customers for decades and have never stayed in a Hilton property. My wife had reward points available from a credit card offer so we used them here. And we could not find a good reviewed Choice property anywhere nearby. All I can say is WOW!!! What a step up from Choice. This was the nicest hotel outside of Las Vegas that we have ever stayed at.
Upon arriving, friendly Tamara checked us in quickly and there were no issues. The elevators worked well, the carpets were clean, there were no cobwebs anywhere and the parking lot and grounds were clean. The room was bright, clean and modern. The free breakfast was filling and there were more food choices than we were used to at Choice properties. The room was cleaned after the first night which surprised me as that doesn't seem to be the norm any more. One test of mine to see if a property is clean is to check the public stairwells. The two we used during our stay were spotless, no dust or bugs in the light fixtures like normally seen in most hotels. Waytogo! We had zero issues during our stay. Checkout was fast and we were on our way.
Hint: the even number rooms face the north, the odd face south and the interstate. Our room was very quiet. And being on the 4th floor meant were above the parking lot lights. If we return to the area, this would be the hotel we would stay at.

Safety: We had no worries with our safety
Food & drinks: Free breakfast was filling. There's a Subway and Wendy's within walking distance. A brand new freestanding Starbucks close by should be open soon. Gas at the Pilot travel station next door was the cheapest we found.

We stay there every time in the area. We just found JT's pizza down the street and will eat there every trip.

The hotel was right off the freeway. Rooms were nice and service was good. The hotel was full due to a dance competition, so there was a bit extra noise, but wasn’t too bad.

Not sure why this hotel is rated as high as it is. TV is outdated, most hotels now have smart tvs, the bed is definitely outdated. Needs some upgrades.
Rooms: Bed is not very comfortable, TV is outdated.

Had a great time the room was well cleaning and set when I arrived the staff was very helpful and it was easy to find my room. Also the tv was surprisingly big!

Very nice hotel and we really like this room layout in our King room. Shower is in a separate room and my wife can do her makeup just outside with a nice mirror that is lighted around the edge.

The staff are nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and full of amenities. The hotel is close to the highway and a pilot station and has plenty of light. Its a safe place to stay the night.
