Beware: the hours of the mall as posted are unreliable. We visited last night, believing we'd have dinner and then shop until 9pm. Shocked when all stores closed at 7! Need to be diligent in updating online hours of operation!

This place has really gone down hill. Most of the stores for men have closed and it seems if they are replaced, they're just filler stores.

Nice outlet ... I mean it's an outlet not much to say. The food court was really small. I bought a drink from the food court and the lady charged me $7 for two drinks. But bath and body works was amazing Natalie was so helpful. She had us spending so much money in there lol

Don't really know how to rate The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass. Yelp requires me to give it a 1 to 5 star rating, but if I could be specific, I'd probably give it 3.5 stars.Reckon the thing I like most about TOSotB is that it has stores that I like, that also has decent prices. Like a true outlet store. The Gap, Columbia Sportswear, Eddie Bauer, The North Face, Express... all stores I like. On my most recent trip, I got an entire rain suit for like $80 from Columbia. Pretty nice price for a good quality rain suit.Essentially TOSotB is just an outdoor shopping mall. It even has a food court and people in the middle of the walking paths trying to swindle you by selling sea salt extract or some such. Also - don't be intimidated by how busy the parking lot looks. I've never experienced bad traffic getting out of TOSotB. It always goes quick getting out and jumping on the interstate. (I should add the caveat - this does not include Xmas time. The traffic in and out of the TOSotB in late November and December is absolutely absurd.)The knocks - it is pretty far away. It is in Simpsonville. A bit of a haul from Louisville. And there aren't a ton of stores. And some of the stores are pretty awful and half empty. If you need clothes tho - TOSotB hits.

I'm a Maxxinista and love outlet / bargain shopping. The Bluegrass outlets are my second fave, only to the assortment outside of Palm Springs. The complex is well-designed and managed to keep some big name stores (Gucci, etc). Anytime I'm passing through Louisville it's definitely worth a detour!

Plenty of stores to surround yourself in a full days worth of shopping bliss. I personally like to get in and get out, and that's easily attainable here, but choose your parking wisely if you're on a mission, and go alone! If you decide to bring an accomplice who is a "shop til you drop" type, there's plenty of outdoor seating available to take a break while you watch your accomplice swipe your card until it gets rejected, due to a negative balance! There are several stores offering a sweet treat or light snack while shopping and a few areas with carousel type rides for the kiddos to enjoy, again, while you wait on the aforementioned accomplice above. Hopefully this provides some insight as to the experience that awaits you, but all in all, a well deserved 5 star experience.
