Troutman's Dry Goods Store is the greater Louisville area's leader in quality workwear and boots for men. It is centrally located just off I-65 and accessible from several nearby towns. The store is a large, fully stocked, two-story department-style space with tons of inventory and a selection no other local store can match. It carries all major brands of workwear and western-style clothes and boots. The staff are generally helpful, welcoming, and provide outstanding service. They stand behind their products and take care of customers when there is an issue. The selection is impressive, great, and includes many stylish items, with fair prices. It is a great local business to support. The store is fun with lots to see. Most experiences are positive, though on occasion, customer service greetings can be less friendly. There is a great selection of cool stuff, making customers plan to return.
I love Troutman's. I'm glad they're getting a new, bigger building, but I will miss having them as close as they are. It doesn't really matter, because I'm going to keep right on going to them for all my western wear.
