I usually love this store but the last two times I was there they had dogs inside. The first time a man was there and had two dogs one was running loose all around the store. Then a guy walked in and had a great big pit bull. He was on a leash but that dog was pulling his owner all over. He was a little scary. This last time I stopped in I got into my car and a couple come in with a big hairy dog. I was glad I was done. I just don't think this is a place for dogs unless they are service dogs and these were not.

I frequent this dollar general because it’s close to my house. The staff is normally very nice and helpful. Tonight I get there at 9:30 for a quick in and out errand and the doors are locked. The kid behind the counter comes to the door and points at the sign of the store hours. I say the sign says y’all close at 10 and he says “You too”. If y’all are closing earlier please put out an updated sign. Just locking the doors before 9:30 and then getting an attitude with customer confusion isn’t appropriate.

This is by far my favorite dollar store in Shepherdsville ... the employees are nice and always helpful, the store is always clean and always stocked, I usually by pass a couple of dollar stores just to go to this one !

The employees were very friendly.There were only 2 people ahead of me and another lady opened another register to get me right away.I have always enjoy going to that particular Dollar General.

Usually find ALL I need. The cashiers Are SUPER GREAT .THEY put my bags in the cart and HELP ME OUT THE DOOR.I LOVE TO STAY and Chat when. they aren't busy.
