I cannot say enough good things about Calvin and his team at Walker's Paint & Body. Our family truck was totaled in an accident and Calvin came highly recommended by many folks so he came out the same day we called him to pick the truck up with his wrecker. Over the next 2 to 3 weeks he worked closely with our insurance and us to complete the estimate and claims process. The whole time he communicated with us routinely and even offered invaluable advice as to how to work with insurance to ensure we were not getting taken advantage of. With his advice, we ended getting more than we were expecting and didn't even have to negotiate or argue with our insurance provider. The vehicle was eventually considered a total loss and Calvin even let me come out to his storage lot for over 3 hours to pull off the aftermarket parts insurance wasn't going to pay for. If you are warry about taking your vehicles somewhere to have work done like I am, you should seriously consider giving Calvin a call. They do paint and body work and they also have a service shop, too!

Our truck ended up totaled, but we called these guys for the tow and they put together the estimate and gave us tips for getting the most for our vehicle from the insurance company. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with. I would 100% use them again and I’m sure if the truck had been fixed and not totaled, they would have done a thorough job. Thanks for helping us!

Job was completed was excellent.
Valarie at front was professional and good to work with as well as the Calvin next to her in office.
There was an issue but only minor and was handled professionally and resolved quickly.
They believe in quality and making sure customers are satisfied and happy with the work completed.
I would recommend walkers body shop.

Katie who runs the office is great. That's the only reason for 2 stars.. However, I had a broken hood latch and they opened it by cutting a holeIn my hood which I agreed to (sinceThey said it was the only way) They also cut my radiator in the process, but did not tell me until a week later when I wanted to come take it to another shop, since they couldn't get a hood and another shop could. That's when I got the unfortunate news that I could not drive my car off the lot, and was going to be responsible for paying for the new radiator and labor (about $250 more) Now, I have a car with a busted radiator and hole in the hood (which they cannot find a part for eventhough in 15 min another shop had on its way) their only suggestion to me was to go pull and pick up my own part miles away and bring it to them. Completely unprofessional with no compassion after I trusted them with my vehicle. Other body shops in Louisville I called and spoke to said if they damaged a part of the car that they were not working on that they would be the responsible party for fixing it, and have had it happen several timesbefore. Completely and utterly disgusted with how all of this was handled. Don't cut a hole in someone's car until you have the replacement part in hand - Especially for an older vehicle that may be hard to come by - Make the customer aware of any damages you caused immediately, not a week Later when they decide to take their business elsewhere. What a MESS! I spent 4 hours hunting down shops and parts on my own today due to this whole ordeal because I'm afraid they will mess the car up even more. Oh and I still paid $175 so I could come pick it up in worse shape than I left it in.
