My kids have been going to The Discovery School for almost a decade! They each started at 2 years old doing a few hours a week for preschool and have gone through 4th and 5th grade. We love the school and the teachers here. It's been such a blessing to be a part of this close-knit school family and to know every person my children interact with each day. The small classes are wonderful. My kids get so much individual attention and are able to dive deeper into subjects they're really interested in and not hurried along to the next thing.Very rarely is there homework and when there is it's typically something fun, never worksheets. No standardized testing! No issues with bullying! The communication with their teachers is great too; I'm not worrying about how my kids are doing in school because I'm in the loop for everything! They get plenty of outdoor recess time which is super important for us.I would absolutely recommend The Discovery School to anyone!!

Great Teachers who really put in extra effort. We loved all the teachers here but my daughter was terminated from the school because of a few incidents (she's can be a bit of a handful :) ). The teachers worked hard to help her out in any way they could but ultimately we had to split ways. No hard feelings on our end, we feel every effort was made to correct the behavior and the school did what they felt was best for the other children in attendance. The teachers are passionate and attentive and really do care for the kids and it shows. My daughter misses the teachers and other students and talks about them often, especially if we pass the building.

I'm not one to write reviews. If I could give Discovery Gym less than 1 star I would. It seems like an amazing concept. They claim that they don't have discipline issues because they have such a fun and flexible curriculum. This is all lies. I'm sure Discovery Gym is great if your child is a great, perfectly behaved child who never misbehaves in an age appropriate way. However, the second they do something that Discovery Gym doesn't like they will kick them out so as to not tarnish their perfect reputation. I would especially not recommend Discovery Gym if you have a little boy who does not immediately listen. I have a master's degree related to child development and my child was removed from Discovery Gym for what are completely age appropriate misbehaviors. If your child sticks his/her tongue out they are kicked out. If they are "disrespectful" Discovery Gym kicks them out. Both my child and myself are traumatized by our experience here.

Not only has our son made so many learning discoveries, but he gains those memories in playful ways that have made his learning so fun. He's gained some cherished friends along the way too. DG is such a blessing!

my Grandchildren have gone to the discovery Gym for at around three years. They have been taught things that they would have ever been taught in a public school environment. They accept children from 0 to third grade and will be expanding to higher grades.
