Giving a one star to this pharmacy is actually too much with the pharmacist on on duty right now!! Most of the pharmacy workers are good folks but the pharmacist needs to go do something else and let somebody have his job that actually wants to follow Walgreens policy rules!! so I’ve been getting my medication here for years now! But today, March 6 at around 4:45 the pharmacist told me they could not fill my prescription based on an opinion he has about my prescriber! Here’s the thing I can get this exact medication from the exact prescriber from literally every Walgreens in the state because Walgreens has an understanding or deal of some sort with these prescribers, Except for this wall greens! I will be calling your superiors yet when I have a good opportunity! But I just wanted to get this out. If you’re possibly considering this pharmacy for anything, you should know this!! This pharmacist believes he does not have to follow Walgreen pharmacy policies he believes he can make his own policies! Maybe that is the truth I don’t know! But I would be seriously surprised if this was the case! But yeah, there’s plenty of other pharmacies to do business with! Actually, walking in now to pick up my prescription at Walgreens in Bowling Green instead! But it’s just frustrating when all because of one person it completely complicates everything and the person has to drive an extra 30 minutes to pick up what they’re supposed to be able to pick up within five minutes of their house

Your Russellville Kentucky location could have killed my 80 year old mother by dispensing the wrong blood pressure medication to her. I’ve called and been promised so many call backs and no one will call me back. Doctor called in a change of blood pressure medication dosage which included raising one and lowering another. Mom is a retired RN of 40 years and knew something was wrong with the dosage Walgreens tried to give her as it would have sent her blood pressure through the floor and probably killed her. The pharmacy employees argued with her about this until mom noticed the order on the walgreen employee screen. Your employee was careless and no one bothered to read the full order from the doctor. This is after she was lied to and told they called her doctor and she confirmed with the doctor’s office that was false. Is this how you do business? Halfway reading prescription orders and badgering elderly women for noticing your carelessness? She still does not know what the four pills she was sent home with the first day were.

My husband was discharged today from Tristar Centennial in Nashville from major back surgery. Waited 7 hours on his medications just to tell me that they didn’t have them ready because they were out of handouts that had to be given with the medication. When I questioned them, the tech started yelling at me. Absolutely unprofessional!

I WILL NEVER come in this Walgreens in Russellville, Ky again. Since the pandemic started I have purchased Amazon cards at this store sometimes $800 or more for the clients. TODAY they needed a manager to ring up even the ones under $500. A manager comes up and says that she needed to get approval for the ones over $500. Ok. The they call up to the register and want to know what I am buying them for

In and out fairly quickly considering COVID-19 restrictions. Usually have what I'm looking for at a competitive price.
