I have a 12 year old, 20lb Jack Russell, that has been seen at this vet for over a year. I usually have a great experience, and everyone is very friendly. I am writing this review with a frustrated, and sad heart. My dog was has allergies, and we have been getting apoquel for him from Dr. Ellie. However, the vets office gave us Meloxicam 7.5 for a pitbull, instead of apoquel 3.5. I didn't notice this mistake until 6 pills later. I called the vets office and told them what had happened. They asked me to bring my dog in for a chemistry panel to check his kidney function, I was under the impression this was a curtesy visit. When checking out I was charged for the labs. I said "no offense, but I won't be paying that." I was then placed back in a room with Dr. Ellie who came in and confronted me about the bill. She stated that this was not 100% the offices fault and that they didn't charge me for the office visit, just the labs. I understand that mistakes can be made, and I also had a responsibility in this as well, and stated that. Dr. Ellie proceeded to tell me again, that this was not 100% the vets fault, and that I've had the pills for 2 months, and they are different shape. I proceeded to tell her that I would take the responsibility, and pay for the bill, but that I would not be returning to their office. It was then, at that point, that she wanted to wave the cost. I didn't allow that, I paid the bill, and left. I am upset, and I do not feel that this was handled in an appropriate manner. Hope this review sheds some light on how they do not take responsibility for their mistakes, and are not apologetic whatsoever. My 12 year old, 20lb Jack Russell could have had kidney failure due to taking a high dose of Meloxicam that was supposed to be for a pitbull. I am thankful that they saw him, and did do labs, and that he is okay. But I will not be back.

My sweet dog had to have surgery to repair the bones in her front leg after they were broken. I was beyond distraught and stressed over her being at the vets for several days, but they were amazing. They listened when I told them she got cold easy and provided her with extra blankets and a warming kennel, didn't mind when I told them we weighed out her food everyday, and had no problem providing daily updates. My girl came home ultimately no worse for wear, and happy as could be despite having had surgery. She was sent home with more than adequate pain management, and they called to check in on her multiple times. They gave us an estimate, and stayed well within the range. Which was incredibly helpful given the circumstances.

Dr Ellie is Awesome. If you can see her. We have temporarily changed Vet clinics because we cannot seem to. Not saying other Vets are not capable, but we followed Dr Ellie When she opened her own clinic and have Faith and Confidence in her. Not in someone who we don't know.

We had to say goodbye to a family member. The doctor and staff were sensitive and caring. It was the best place to have to make a difficult decision. They said we could stay as long as we wanted and offered their best. Thank you.

I had taken my yorkshire terrier, LuLu to her vet in Robertson County, TN 3 times for the same diagnosis for constant drooling and hacking. She had all labs and xrays done. I feel blessed that I finally went to Nashville Road Animal Hospital and Dr. Emily removed 15 inches of string around her tongue. I will definitely take LuLu there from now on even if it is further. I would highly recommend this clinic for any of your vet needs. Very caring staff from my first phone call!
