My kids anticipate the fair every year, they absolutely love it. It's fun plus it's well monitored, they work hard to make it a safe kid friendly environment and that to means alot.

The Jaycees worked really hard on planning the Halloween Bash Demo Derby just to have people to make rude comments about it not starting on time, paying too much or whatever they wanna fuss about. For one all of these guys and their families VOLUNTEER their time ( yes, that means they are NOT paid) to try and have things for Russell and surrounding counties to attend and everything goes right back into the county. Terrible organization and more disappointed and dissatisfied every time they throw an event. I took my children tonight both young but love the derby paid to much to watch just a derby them sat for 3 hours without a car to even make it to the tracks and the kids asleep on my leg. I do not plan on patronizing or supporting this place anymore I can save up what I would spend taking my family there for 2 nights and could take them all to Kings Island for night and day difference in service and entertainment.

This is crazy took my children on kids day and they charge us 40 dollars!! I'm not cheap by no means and would willingly spend the money for my community, but when a women looks at my 1 yr old and says 10 dollars because she looks over 32†to me!! Correct me if I'm wrong but the last few years have been way way smaller with much fewer rides, and on “kids day†they either go in for free or at least half price!! What happened to the carnival's that would let a parent ride with a small child on the small rides? This used to be allowed! To young families with small children, dont waste your money trying to go. A small child can ride more rides at Disney World!!!

I love going to the derby. it's always great. thanks to all the sponsors who make it possible. so glad they make time for six o clock and it don't start till a little later it gives everyone time to get in and get food if they want and get them a seat. and the Jaycees are always very nice. the only thing is it hard to hear on the speakers. need more speakers and need to make it louder. need to make Ron Tucker a lot louder. didn't hear hardly anything he was say tonight
