I moved to Russell Springs from Somerset a couple of years ago and was looking to change vet practices. Initially, I called Coffey's Vet Center in Columbia based on a friend's recommendation. Needless to say, that was a mistake. The person who answered was clearly overly stressed and not friendly at all. She did not have time to spend a few minutes on the phone with me for questions I had about their practice. So, Google led me here. I called and they were so very informative and I felt that they truly cared about receiving my business. My feelings were confirmed when I showed up for my appointment. Everyone was friendly and the veterinarian and her staff were outstanding! I'm looking forward to many years of service from these amazing, caring people! THANK YOU Cumberland Animal Hospital for all you do to keep our pets healthy and happy!

A veterinarian is only capable of what she is allowed to do for any animal. It is also the owner’s responsibility to pay for the vet charges so don’t blame a vet when you can’t afford the proper procedures to care for your animals they’re there to make a living and take care of your pets too.. also the cost of the equipment it takes to care of all the animals… and also if you’re not willing to pay what it takes to take care of your pet then don’t be mad at the vet when she refuses your service.

Well my dog WAS a 2 year old German shepherd and black lab, he went in with a simple ear infection otherwise he was a healthy and very active kid they put so much anesthesia in him he never got out of the fog and passed away they charged us over 300 dollars for just fixing his ear and killing him, when he wasn't getting better from the anesthesia we was begging them for help and all we got in response was "we have done everything your budget will allow " STAY AWAY ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY NO HEART money hungry pet killers

I’ve been here twice and I have no complaints about this place! Always reasonable priced & you can tell they care about you and your pet. The last time I went with my cat after she had a emergency they squeezed her in within a few minutes, so thankful for them!

I really love this clinic and so do my critters! Dr. Cade is great - she answers all my questions and really takes her time with her patients! Susan is also great, she calls to remind me about upcoming appointments and the techs always call to see how the patients are doing after their visits! Outstanding service - I couldn't ask for a better group of animal lovers to care for my fur babies!

Absolutely love them. I'm from out of state visiting family and took a pet in for a quick check up. While there the pet suffered an emergency and he was swiftly taken care of without question. They took such wonderful care of out pet

Horrible experience... Woman tried to have my dog put down because he nipped at her after being hit by a car. We didn't have proof of his rabies vaccine, although he has had it, and she offered to kill him, cut his head off to have his brain tissue tested and give us his body. Fortunately Dr. Coffey stepped in. Ky law requires that a dog be quarantined 10 days after a bite, and this can be done from home. Coffey kept our dog 4 days after that quack told us he wasn't going to make it, he is now quarantined bat home and up playing and going great!!! By the way, the "bite" was a scratch, that hardly did more than bruise her arm. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
