I came to pick up my girlfriends prescription when the pharmacy wasn’t busy at all and they told me “20 minutes” which I was fine with but then I went back up to the counter and they told me another 25 minutes and then it started to pick up. You shouldn’t have to wait all day for your medicine

I've been using Walgreens pharmacy for about 14 years. I moved to Richmond Kentucky about a year ago and continue using Walgreens. Over the past year I have had so many problems with extremely bad customer service and being put on hold for a downright insulting amount of time, that I have now been transitioning all my prescriptions to CVS. I've tried talking to the people at the store, they didn't improve.

Walgreens app sucks at showing clearance so I always go in stores to look around but I guess that makes you look like a thief. Probably because I put my card in my pocket without opening a wallet to free my hands…

This the worst most incompetent store in the nation. I almost died in the drive-thru waiting on my cardiac meds. I even remembered to pack a lunch but didn’t bring dinner. I saw the seasons change several times over waiting in the drive thru. ?❄️☀️ Ridiculous ?

I use to love this particular location until the last couple of days. I've never had a problem out of the pharmacy, but only the store employees up front, especially the females. They're extremely rude!! There's also a rude male employee. The female employees claim you can't get a physical copy of your receipt from the register because they send it to your email, while another employee gives us a physical copy all the time regardless that we have digital recipients through email. It's not just the receipt, it's the principle of the matter. A manager had given my uncle $10 onto his Walgreens account because we had a terrible experience with the female employees. The male employee said we had $3 extra besides the $10 , so we had $13 in total of rewards to spend in the store. We brought our items to the counter, and the male employee refused to let my uncle use the full $13 and he wouldn't even give us a reason why. Absolutely horrible customer service!!!!!

This has to be the worst pharmacy in history! 5 hours after I received their text that they received my Rxs and 2 hours after I called them because I know how they are, they still didn’t have them ready. Then proceeded to tell me to come back in 2-3 hours. I live 25 minutes away. We country people around here. I hate krogers no longer takes my Rx insurance ??

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of working with. For everything from appointments to prescriptions, this pharmacy is a complete, unprofessional, failure. If you’re thinking of making an appointment to get a vaccination, don’t. The “appointment time” is never honored. You will wait an hour, at minimum. The room in which the vaccinations are given is filthy. If you need a prescription, it will take nearly an hour to get said prescription once notified that the prescription is allegedly filled. Frequently many standard medications need to be ordered, because this location is abysmally stocked. You will wait on the phone forever in an imaginary line and when it is finally “your turn” the actual pharmacy techs will tell you to “please hold” then hang up on you without ever actually answering the phone, repeatedly. To be clear, the phone incident was not just a singular incident of technical failure, nor accidental button push. Having called several times, I can confirm this is a horrid standard of practice. I can only assume the reason this pharmacy is even in business is due to the location and it’s being a nationwide chain. Otherwise, anyone who has ever had the misfortune of dealing with this pharmacy would certainly go ANYWHERE else.

The slowest pharmacy i have ever experienced we just moved to Richmond, they didnt have a liquid medicine reasy after 3 hours of having the prescription. Pulled in the drive thru she said itll be 10 more minutes, so we hung out in the drive thru. U can hear the people inside she left the speaker on and the blonde headed lady just kept being unprofessional about not having our sons medicine ready.

The store was clean, well stocked and organized. I haven’t visited many Walgreens in the past, but definitely would be coming back to this location. Cashier was very friendly and helped me locate the item I was looking for. Keep up the good work!

If I could give 0 stars I would, the people working in the pharmacy are beyond rude and think they are entitled! Absolutely unprofessional. Get your meds elsewhere.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been too. Very rude staff, they refuse to have cars pull around after dropping off a prescription so you’re forced to wait in line in the drive through sometimes 30+ minutes while waiting for 1 car to move. Today I went to pick up my depression meds and the woman in the drive through told me my insurance wasn’t working and I would either need to pay the full amount or not get it. She said they couldn’t do an emergency supply ( which is bogus for a maintenance prescription, specifically one that can affect someone’s mental Heath severely after not having for 48-72 hours). Then after being forced to pay full price I called my insurance and they said there was no reason as to why they said that it wasn’t working and the info they gave to me was false and that they owed me a refund and the whole prescription at which point Walgreens said they were not liable for the refund. Terrible, terrible service.

Requested a prescription transfer from Kroger 3 days ago. The tech at Walgreens took down my information and when I went to pick up the prescription today, they had no information about it. The tech told me it would take 30 minutes to get the prescription filled and the transfer done. Came back 30 minutes later and waited in line for 30 minutes to be told the prescription transfer was never started again. They blamed Kroger for not faxing the prescription. I called Kroger and they had already faxed it earlier. Now I’m on my way home again without my medication. These kind of mishaps can be detrimental to a disabled American veteran trying to get their mental health medication.
