I have been a client of this vet clinic for over 15 years. I met Dr. Skipworth when he was partners at another clinic years ago. I followed him when he opened his own place and have never considered going elsewhere! They recently opened their own building and I must say it is superb!! Sooo proud of this team and family! The entire staff is so caring and loving. Rhonda, one of the receptionists, and I have a great relationship ...I love her! Well, I love them all, just known her much longer! Dr. Skipworth has taken great care of my many dogs ...currently we have 8. I have rescued many over the years and he never hesitates to get me in and look them over and get them to a better health. One of my schnauzers now has cushings disease and diabetes... I get so emotional. But he is patient and loving and caring toward my little Tucker. He has gone above a d beyond to help him, as well as myself, to get him better. I can never say thank you enough... these people mean the world to me! Skipworth Vet Clinic...you rock! You know Im your biggest fan!

We have seen all 3 vets at this office and have been so happy with them all. Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs, to the vets themselves are so kind and so good to our animals!

I wish I had found this vet sooner! Loved loved loved everything about it. From the check in to the personalized private check out inside the room and especially Dr Adam's and the assistant that helped me. They were truly wonderful and just what I was looking for.

The vet tech Sadie was very attentive, knowledgeable, detail oriented and super nice! I also really liked knowing the cost of everything and admired the convenience of paying in the exam room it creates so much less traffic in the waiting area. This is very helpful for anxious animals! More vet clinics should do this!

Do not take your dogs here if they have a big problem going on. My dog is dead because they couldn’t be bothered to listen to what I was saying about how he was progressing and could not even examine him without sedation. My dog was gentle and all he did was jump a little when having something messed with that hurt.
Even when they did they missed several things that became a problem in less than 24 hours. I was talked to in a condescending manner, I had to beg to just to be able to explain what was going on so it would be in the notes. It seemed as though she was more concerned with getting off the phone than caring about my dog being on his death bed.
I had to go to another vet just to find out what was wrong with him in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. Unfortunately because it was not treated with the right medications it infected his lungs and could not be saved.
My booker COULD have been saved had they actually listened and took what I was saying seriously and not just being told “oh it’s an infection.” I will be telling EVERYONE the kind of treatment booker and I have received from this clinic.

We love Skipworth! All of our small fur babies are seen by Skipworth and so far we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. I would definitely recommend Skipworth to anyone living in the Madison county area.

have been going to this place for years but had to move my animals to a different veterinarian because of how bad skipworth’s prices are. all the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, but during my last visit (which included a single vaccine for my cat) i was charged an additional 50 dollars extra for an “exam fee”. absolutely ridiculous!! especially considering how the “exam” just consisted of them taking my cat’s weight- which is not worth 50 dollars! i’m not cheap, but i can recognize unnecessary fees when i see them. nobody can afford to take care of their sick animals when they’re getting additional charges for what amounts to nothing. will not be coming back unfortunately.

Started bringing my kitty here when we adopted her, and have taken her a several times for regular exams, flea treatment, etc. Skipworth is so professional and caring of the animals. They always communicate possible pricing up front, are respectful to the pets and owners, and have a firm but kind touch when handling the animals. They are wonderful!
