Got my brake pads and rotors done by them. Found out I had air in my brakes when I attempted to brake and got a delayed response. Almost causing a CAR ACCIDENT! Took my car back and was told "We're swamped. Can you come back tomorrow?" Idk who they think want to drive on a faulty brake job completed by them. Horrible customer service and brake job and even worse people. Good luck if you use them.

I needed some work done on my vehicle. I called in advance to see if they had the parts I needed. Poet and his team provided me with excellent service.

The definition of inefficiency. Nice enough people, but get ready for empty work stations, limited employees, staff on their phones, and 2 hour oil changes. If you're willing to go outside the Ford network for maintenance: I would. Joy's automotive has been far superior. Recommend you don't waste your time.

On 28 October 2022, my friend Carol Wheeler came to my office along with my wife accompanied by a salesman from Knox Ford. She had picked out a Ford F150 to replace her car which had been totaled out in a not at fault accident. I asked her if the truck had been checked out by my mechanic, William "Wally" Ready of Ready's Automotive. She said the mechanic could not check the truck out until that Monday and that the salesman had told her the truck had already inspected by their technicians. He repeated that claim in front of me and later my mechanic. Based on his representation, I went along. At the time, I did not think that a Ford franchised dealership would sell a $21,000 vehicle without inspecting it first. On 29 October, I went into the dealership with Carol to sign the paperwork as co-buyer including the "as is" statements and gave them a $9,000 cashier's check as down payment. The following week the check engine light went on, so I asked Carol to take it to my mechanic. It was then Wally Ready told me that the lug nuts were rusted onto the wheels. Later he told me that all four main brake and parking brake assemblies were heavily rusted making the truck unsafe in his opinion. One month later and over $4800 in repairs, I contacted the Knox Ford General Manager Clyde Mizell ON 8 December and sent him the repair receipts. Prior to contacting him on 9 December, I checked on why I had not received the title. I then found out that this truck was from out of state and had not yet been inspected by the Hardin County Sheriff so it could be inspected. According to their title clerk who works at Tri-County Ford, the paperwork had been sent back to them on 14 November. As of 7 January 2023, the truck still has not been inspected or transferred. When I spoke with Clyde Mizell on 9 December, he first attempted to blame me for not coming to him sooner. He then claimed his dealership could have done the repairs for $3200 without providing any estimates to document this. When I offered to accept the $3200 as a compromise, he said he would need to talk with the owner. On 19 December Clyde Mizell told me that the owner was only willing to pay $1600 and again tried to blame me for not coming to him sooner. What he failed to explain is why a truck in that condition had been sold by his dealership in the first place. After checking with a lawyer, I tried to reach out directly to the owner of Tri-County Ford and Knox Ford, Gary Haupt. After sending him a letter, several email requests, and leaving at least three voice mail messages, he did not return my calls. I came to the conclusion that he had no intention of doing so. That is why I am filing this consumer complaint. Was I stupid for going along with this and not insisting that the truck be inspected by my mechanic first? YES! I ask that you consider what I have shared with you if you are considering doing business with Knox Ford. I have documents to support this if you are interested. KENNETH L. RANDALL

Advertised a truck online for $1000 under MSRP and then of course once they get your info and you contact them, it's all the sudden "cars.com messed up and listed it under MSRP, but the real price is $10,000 OVER MSRP". That's a really bad excuse to bait and switch. Shady dealership.

Recently bought a truck here. John was fantastic. This was my 4th car buying experience and it was the best one by far. John took everything I was looking for and made it happen. There was absolutely no pressure at all. Best salesman I have ever met. Ask for John! Tim was also amazing to work with. Again there was no pressure and no add ins were pushed to "make a sale". They were both more than willing to help and bent over backwards for me as a customer. I would recommend this duo team to everyone looking for a new ride.

I had two vehicles serviced today at the Quick Lane: Vehicle 1 - oil change (requested "the works") Drop off 7:30am Completed at 9:47am Vehicle 2 - oil change Drop off 12:00pm Completed 2:02pm I requested "the works" on vehicle number 1. I have 35 inch tires on that truck. The tire rotation was not completed and I was almost charged for it. I was concerned that this might occur based off how quick "the works" was completed on my previous visit. I marked the sidewalls on my tires prior to dropping it off so I would know if it was actually done or not. The tire rotation had not been completed. I was told to go to the cashier to checkout and that is when I confronted the service manager about it. Thankfully the service manager, Steve, was very helpful by correcting the situation. He apologized for the lack of explanation as to why it wasn't completed and compensated the oil change. The mileage sticker from my previous service at quick lane was not removed and the new sticker was emplaced on the windshield, below my tinted eyebrow, on about a 45 degree cant, with a few oil smudges left on the glass. No complimentary vacuum, no service mat, no plastic seat cover etc. Very basic service for a relatively standard price. No issues with the service provided on vehicle number 2 other than what I mentioned previously. No extra steps were taken to make me feel like we should return or that my vehicle was truly taken care of. Decent work, but check behind the technicians to confirm the service was completed correctly.

My car began making a noise in the engine and the oil light came on as I was driving from Bowling Green to Ft. Knox. I pulled into the Ford place and they immediately stopped their work to help me out. They discovered I had no oil at all in my car. They checked it over and found I had leaks in a hose. They couldn't replace the hoses in my Lexus but suggested the place to take it. These guys bent over backwards and were so helpful, then did not charge me at all.

I have been going here for years and know a few of the employees. Sad to say it used to be a alot better place. The so-called quick lane is a joke now. Not only are they slow as molasses but the manager and a few of the techs are rude. Parts guys are still cool and very helpful when they can be. Since 2007 I have always bought my tires there. I may look for a new place next time unless things change.

Came here to see Steve the tire expert / manager for advice on a set of tires. He was highly recommended by a few locals who swear and trust their fleet for both price value and service. Steve helped to suggest a few brands. And now I have a truck that rides like a car now. My last set were off road BF Goodrich all terrain AT/TKO 8 years old with 40k miles. That were dry rotting for the past 3 years. The tires looked good except one started to cap separate. They have very new Hunter mounting and balancing machines. One out of 4 rims had a paint scuff scratches damage to the rim so I'm happy as these are the second set I've ever purchased for the truck. One of 4 of the valve stems was missing a cap. I'm guessing they were in a hurry. I'd take one off my lawn mower. In the meantime. As a former tech. I know things just happen. So. In general I'm happy.
