Very rude employees. I know people who have sold or purchased a particular item just recently from here. I called to inquire about selling my item the guy on the phone was VERY rude. Telling me the policy has changed he just works there he didn’t change it. I was only inquiring about selling my item and asked when it changed since the person I know just sold an item recently. I will never use this pawn shop!

Took a brand new dell laptop there that is 500 dollars in value , I have only used from school that’s it. Paid to get it out 90 bucks and it has a os lock on it and I can get in the laptop anymore and it was fine when I pawned it. Now saying it’s my fault for it being locked up and won’t help to get it fixed . Pretty much put the blame on me and told me I am at fault when they knew it was working when it went it , because they would have never taken it.

24 hour return policy on new guns, bought my judge for 350$, and tried to sell me a gun for full price on trade. Poor business ethic. Judge it for your self will not do business here again

Total joke, will offer you 20 for something they’ll sell for 200. Do not go here, go to The Pawn Shop in paintsville or Martin Gun & Pawn which is literately 12 minutes away, you will get at least triple what you would get at the Scam Elephant. They take advantage of people who are down on their luck and insult your items.

I was directed to purchase a cell phone an was promised if it wasn't compatible that my money would be refunded..well low n behold it wasn't compatible an so I brought the phone back 3days later an I payed n cash yet they wouldn't refund my money . It was put on a gift card ..sales associate shouldn't tell customers things that aren't true !!!!!?☹️☹️☹️?????

Brian is the only person there that will give you a decent price for your items if you go to sell or pawn something, if he can’t give you a decent price for your item he try’s to be nice about it at the least! MOST of the other staff members are so rude & always literally always say that your items, no matter how awesome are “a dime a dozen”!! Like that is just rude! They offered me $5 for 2 case knifes that I made $75 on at “The Pawn Shop” in paintsville! I love Brian! I love buying stuff from them but I haven’t been back since that offer, it was beyond insulting honestly! They really need more workers like Brian! Brian is honestly the only reason I gave the shop 2 ⭐️ stars.
